Trump completed it. Obama could have set up historically black colleges but didnt. Trump with an executive order gave them more money and set it to be indefinite so they dont have to come to the White House year after year to beg for it which they announced their appreciation for, yet never seen on MSM because bush, clinton and obama dont want you to see. Trump implemented prison reform and has it set up with businesses to hire convicts to give them a second chance so they do not end up desperate repeat offenders because no one hires felons. Trump tries to be authentic. Are his words eloquently written for him by speech writers? No. He tries with his own words. Is it perfect? No. His actions are what matters. I can only believe the ignorance because no one looks beyond the main stream media twisted headlines and never looks beyond them to find what they do not cover. The MSM is deceiving you all, and I really wish you all delve deeper to see what is truth rather than listening to the same that have tried to tear down Trump from day one. Obama and Hillary committed treason from the get go of Trumps presidency by participating in a coup with false russian collusion narrative and witch hunt to destroy and impeach an elected president. @kjustice1703 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Nicholas Isaza oh I thought you were going to mention something different than the same song I have been hearing from all his supporters.
      Look: Opportunity zones have a plus and a minus to it. Obviously this is a good thing for communities in job creation and building. However it would have been nice to have a check and balance in the law. NPR reports "the law does not include reporting requirements that would enable the government, to measure and track the effects of these investments" (www.npr.org). Also Corona has thrown this to an almost halt with little movement to date on how well this is going. So all while this is good, this continues to provide a way for white weathly investors to come into black communities without allowing the black people in that community to actually own anything.
      The tax cuts benefited all of his regardless of race which can be seen as a good thing but overwhelming it has been good for the weathliest of Americans.
      I could continue but given I truly have a completely different outlook on the why and what for of the things you mentioned.
      All changes made in our government will always have a positive and negative impact for someone.
      For me Trump has done nothing spectacular that any other president haven't done before. He just has a raw and none political way of leading with a bold in your face that he is better than anyone who has done it, which is obviously furthest from the truth.
      I believe the comment spoke to the civility, respect, morality and ethical way other presidents can behave towards one another, (especially a civil rights icon like John Lewis) understanding and knowing they have different perspectives. Trump is too childish, narcissistic and stuck on himself to be humble enough to show respect for others he disagrees with. I do understand why the friction was between Trump and Lewis and I honestly didn't expect Trump would be involved.
      Oh I have to include this unemployment is NOT a complete win of Trump let alone African Americans. Trump inherited a good economy and job growth that Obama set up so he was just riding that wave. Fortunately he didn't nor any of our government officials found a way to reverse this downward trend that had been going on since late January of 2009.

      @kjustice1703 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Nicholas Isaza I would challenge you on your meaning of hypocrite as I am not and do not pander to anything hypocritical.
      I am fair and give credit where it is due. I gave credit to Trump for allowing the opportunity zones as it can be a benefit...just not all the bells and whistles that people are trying to make it and maybe need a second look to add that checks and balances to know how helpful this law has been over time. For you to have a problem with that says you are fine with the law how it is and that is a problem. Similar to the ACA on the individual mandate I was against and glad Trump got rid of that. The Healthcare plan itself was a good starting point to work towards a better Healthcare plan for all just the mandate was ridiculous.
      My point in wanting you to answer that question was to see if i had missed something that he has done. Turns out you mentioned everything I had been hearing already. There is always another perspective to be had on anything in this world. So to debunk any of what you mentioned was not my point I was just providing another perspective and again that Trump is no savior to any of us. I would think most people would want government officials and a president to have empathy irregardless of his tough policies. But that seems to be an excused thing for Trump.
      My last paragraph should have showed you this but I guess not.
