Thanks to Keywan who helped out with this episode. This remake of an earlier episode I had since deleted was meant to go out weeks ago, but there was some issues that prevented that. Please after you have watched this pop over to his personal channel The Library of Wisdom. The link is in the description box above. Also I have a backlog of episodes coming up including a collaboration/cross over episodes with another big channel, so make sure you are subscribed.

One of the lesser known supernatural powers of the assassins was their purported ability to climb to a high place and look across the landscape which would give them an instantaneous mental map of the entire area.

I am from Iran, so I would write what I heard from my father about this:
"Assassin" comes from the arabic word "Hashashin", which means: "Consumers of Hashish (a type of drugs)".
Muslims of Nizari branch of Ismaili Shia, in the Castle of "Alamut" (near Qazvin, Iran), were called "Hashashins", because their leader, "Hassan Sabah", had his followers addicted to this drug. This addiction used to make them loyal to him, because they, obviously, wanted to receive more. Moreover, it was probably responsible for decreasing his soldiers' anxiety levels when killing his enemies, thus they performed so well, and earned a worldwide reputation for themselves.
It is believed that "Seljuk Emipre"(Rulers of Iran (Persia) at the time), sent Hassan Sabah many envoys. They were either killed or reported the way to the castle to be impassable and very dangerous (which is true, becuase I went there and the way to the castle is horrendous. The valleys are as deep as I was extremely terrified, and didn't want to continue driving).
My father said that the "jumping from tall buildings in a stylish way", has become the symbol of this game, is because once one of these envoys reaches the castle and Hassan Sabah accepts to meet him. The message from the central government (Seljuks) to Hassan Sabah was of course a threat that he should stop having his own country within their country!
In order to show his power, Hassan sabah then asks some of his soldiers to stand in front of the windows of the castle, and asks them to jump down from the building and die for his cause in front of the envoy. The envoy would then go back to his masters with this terrifying message that Hassan Sabah followers are ready to die for their leader, no matter what!
Though at the end of the day, members of the Creed were killers (and in Iran are known to be the first terrorists). I am glad, in English, the word "Assassin", which has its roots from the Middle East, is more being seen as something like "Ninja", and is not equivalent of Terrorist, just because they were from the Middle East! (Really...Why are Ninja's not being seen as terrorists?!)
As I said I visited the castle, and it is unfortunately destroyed. The remaining parts are also mostly covered by the Iranian government. But, if you ever go there, you can enjoy the amazing scenery of the scary, yet beautiful valley in front of the castle.

The segment is really amazing. The Assassin Creed Ismailis chose the Castle of Death, and this was the largest and strongest of the castles, and the goal of Sheikh Hassan Al-Sabah was to spread the call to the Ismaili doctrine with the support of the Fatimid state. The base motto is Creed. If you do not have enough army to confront the enemy, hit the enemy behind his back until their number decreases little by little.

Saladin was a man who was not afraid at all, but he really felt fear of murderers because of the inventions that happened. One day a servant came and said to him: "Sir, I have an important message for you, so I ask you to clear the meeting." Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi asked the ministers to leave the meeting. But one man strayed with me, Saladin. "This is a secret message and I asked you to expel everyone," the minister told Salahuddin. Saladin replied: This man is the most reliable of men, and I love this man as I love my son, so do not worry. The minister gave the Assassin's password to the man whom Saladin considered like her son, and after the man heard the password, and this word was the assassins' secret word, the man placed a dagger. on his neck. On Saladin. And he prepared to kill Salah ad-Din completely, as it turned out that the minister affiliated with Salah ad-Din, as well as the man whom Salah ad-Din considered as his son, turned out to be from the Assassins, and here was the great shock to Salah ad-Din al-Ayyubi, as he lost confidence in all ministers and every person, even the closest people to him .

In Frank Herbert's dune the entire premise of the Freeman is kind of based on Islam and the Eastern world. One can also say that the various houses in dune also represent various countries here on Earth. Now that that's out of the way allow me to get to my real point, since the dawn of human written civilization the employment of murder or assassination is perhaps one of the oldest jobs in human history right up there next to thievery. I am a real big assassin's Creed fan which is why I've continued to follow the stories up to this point however, remember there were many other assassination organizations and cults out there that actually predate this one. Still though, it's always nice to learn something new about history that I didn't previously know in college.

About rashid ad sinan, now i know, why altair try to burn al muallim body,he want to see ghost or spirit came out from that body. Because rashid is expert in alchemist and magic. It's look like assassin creed really did great research, and assassin creed revelations by far,one of the best i play, now new assassin creed will come, assassin creed mirage take timeline in baghdad, and i remember that year around 900 ad or something, it's a story before assassin creed 2007 which take timeline between crusade 2 and 3,but mirage take a place before that year, and it will be interesting.

There is some nice script writing being done to make this content possible. I appreciate the clever, knowing manner a style of story-telling combines with deft flicks of news-package-styled commentary.
If you happen to be looking for talent in your script writing area, I'd be happy to try my luck. I ghost-write stories as a profession.

I read a book about Gulf War 2. The SAS went on a mission to meet Saddams FedAyeen, under the impression that they could co-opt them. Big mistake.
Sadly I cannot remember the name, as I gave it away. It was written by one of the SAS, and was true in my view. He paid due respect to the Fedayeen (As did all the SAS and some US special Forces) A bit of research would find the book, I am sure. well worth a read.
If I find it I will report back with Title.
Thanks to the channel for great film docus.

Please note, the Templars were accused of worshipping baphomet. The Oxford English Dictionary defines baphomet as an old French corruption of the name Muhammet (d). There IS a link that needs to be explored.
