    It was a scary height. But the horizon is worth it. Found your channel as you are active on the Moon-Net reflector. I hope one day to make a QSO. 73!

      I enjoy doing antenna work. I used to be afraid to climb that high but now I am comfortable doing it. I hope we can make a QSO one day. 73!

    How do you film this? And how long does it typically take to take this antenna up and down including climbing time? Great video! 73's!

      The ground shots of the antenna and me cranking the tram line up with the winch were done with a smartphone camera. The areal views including me working on top of the tower were shot with a drone. I don't know if I ever really kept track of the time. The operations shown here probably took 30 minutes total, but rigging the tram line and backstay in preparation is at least another hour and involves a couple of climbs since I work alone. This was the first of four yagis that went on that tower.
