Genestealers are somewhat looking like they will be my favourite fiction, which is funny because I hadn't considered them much before in lore or tabletop. The Patriarch seems to have nice synergy with Xybia. Both their tools kits really seem to fit well in my preferred play-style. I don't really care much for the meta, but the thematic, ability and model design for the Gene-Stealers seems solid so far.
I just got started with the game like 1 week ago. It’s kinda addictive and I really wanna build a tyranid team..I only got the biovore so far though 😅 Thanks for the video! Hoping to get my hands on this one 😊
@XxyjmaxX no his active can't be modified by buffs, it's more his regular melee that will get buffed by the howl's. He might be a stand in for a player without a Jain Zhar potentially.
@@richiep3520 agree. It's more obnoxious than a farce. You can sometimes deal with it but it's so easy as a tactic, and so devastating and all-rounded that make the game stressfull and non-enjoyable for the ones who want to explore a little
@divide_art yes, better word to use. You just load up with team for a fun game of pvp to be faced with melting damage and +1 movement against you. Some characters move 5 or 6 spaces and you are just obliterated. You just see that lineup and sigh. 'oh I wonder what the tactic of the enemy is going to be'. I just quit a few fights last time cause it's just so common and most times pointless to try.

I think you missed the potential for using the Patermine to expand the Synapse range and then drop a Deathleaper bomb on units too. Deathleaper has so much potential but he is heavily dependent upon the Synapse hexes to attack effectively. Patermine is going to change this a lot.
The deathleaper bomb only being active from turn 3 onwards makes it/the character too slow for me. I’d love to be wrong but I don’t rate the deathleaper that much
He summons his own genestealers along with gaunts thru synapse with prime. He has the potential to really help drop a lot of summons on the map. Been looking for a 5th nid to add to my all nid team. Seems He is it!
seems like the primarch covers a lot of bases, he could fit into a neurothrope team or provide a good option against rogal dorn for a multi-hit team, and will make tyrannids playable in team arena
Probably not going to unlock this character just like many previous LREs but should be able to reach 300/400 goal. Still working on my Abaddon to Gold 1 since he is very usable in many LREs
Interesting to see the synergies developing with the new faction - Think they look fun, annoying to play against if nothing else. Wondering if in the Guild War evaluation it might be helpful to mention how the characters would fare in defence as well as attack - don't think this one would be great in defence for instance.
Any thoughts on how the Patriarch combines with Xybia? Are we seeing any synergies emerge for the Genestealers yet, or do we need to see more from the faction?
Ugh. I really want to Patriarch but I don't think I'll be able to get it. I main GSC in actual 40k and they're my heart and soul. I went all out to get Xybia and did do fairly well, getting up to Gold 1 Star, but with a Legendary event, I really don't see myself getting it. I'm only level 30 right now, and my kits aren't great. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
The Patriarch event will come back two more times so hopefully you'll be able to unlock him on one of those. I recommend checking out a LRE plannner or guide to see what characters do the best on it so you know who to upgrade most.
@ Oh! Did not know that! That's good to hear, and yeah, I'll for sure check those out. Didn't even know there were things out there for that. Thanks for letting me know!
Neuro, yaz, ahriman, Patermine, abraxas. That could Potentialy remove eldyron from the team since ahriman buffs the ult crazy aswell since each Hit gets buffed or not?
Ah okay good to know. Dont have neuro yet sadly. I rly want to build the neuro Team love the Units and most of the are useful in other aspects of the game. And better obtainable than the admechs also@@Nandi40k
How does he not carry a Psyker trait when his ability does psychic damage … I know it’s not the basic attacks but still seems weird … am I missing something
@ oh i didnt know that, well thanks to your video i also found out that his normal attack isn’t psychic so it doesn’t stack that way either, thanks Nandi!
Wait, what? Xybia's passive can literally be set up in full on the 2nd round. If anything that doesn't insta win you the game on in round 1 _"takes too long to set up",_ I'm not sure anyone wants the "work" you have in mind. It's nice to have a diverting play-style that doesn't revolve around insta winning the game through Howl/Exitor rush.
@@sqocks8254 I don't mind playing the long game too with summon units However the fact is that other summoners do her job a lot better and some don't even have to wait until round 2. There's also the fact that her stats are too low to be able to use her passive effectively, like what's the point if she's just going to die in the third or fourth round? Then she comes back and she dies again. Her active doesn't do any damage which I don't mind but if you add that with what I just said earlier it doesn't really seem effective In terms of diversifying the playstyle you're pretty much screwed in that category too because in order to use this character effectively you have to stay in the back while your stronger units have to go into the frontline or body block any damage somehow because again her stats are low in armor, damage, and hp Summon units are also weak (weaker than a guardsman) with no abilities whatsoever so they have to rely on their ambush trait. Decoy is not foolproof because they can also be destroyed via psychic attacks or by simply stepping on them. The fact that we can only summon one per turn so long as there are two decoys is also ridiculous. If anyone knows how to use Xybia effectively in any mode (besides TA) I would love to hear it otherwise I think she's just very low tier and there are just better options
Oooh Patermine. I thought you were making a Pantomime video all week 😂

wouldn't that also count as the genestealer matriach

Finally I've been waiting for the Patriarchs arrival, this might be the first time I will put effort on unlocking a legendary character
“He has four traits…the infilTRAIT, unstoppable…” if I wasn’t already subscribed, that excellently executed pun would have earned my subscription 😂
I am looking forward to getting this character. Also cheers for the shards, I am currently grinding for the Highmarshal, and those helped a lot.

Is the active not a godsend for the neurothrope? 5 hits?
hits does not equal stacks. It only adds 1 stack to neuroparasite
I didn't realize you weren't done talking, and thought you were saying "the infil-trait".
I think He May See Use in the neuro gr Team since He give 5 Stacks of psychic instant which results in a faster Full Stack.
