Charlie, your videos have been most helpful to me and I'd like to give you something in return. The South and West sides of any "hood" are the worst followed by the east side as it's hard to determine who's in control. North side "hoods" are more educated. Make the comparison for yourself.
In what part of Dallas is Peabody St. Located. I haven't been to Dallas in a very long time. And why are the Hoods of Dallas videoed so much. When I was going I loved all of Dallas. I was born in the 1960 Era.
Dallas has everything it's a big city. The wealthy shit you see on TV is North Dallas, uptown, and the northern suburbs. You go south of I-30 is where a lot of the poor people live.
Hello. This is my first time visiting your channel. I'm just trying to figure out the purpose of the drive thru. I'm not originally from Dallas but I live here now. Every place on earth has a good aspect as well as a not so good aspect of a neighborhood. When I first moved here, everyone told me whatever I do just don't go to Oakcliff. Oakcliff is where I live. People got to live and most are. Regentrification is real and it is happening in different areas. Time waits for no one. I see one comment commending you for the drive thru but if you are going to drive thru Oakcliff, drive thru all of Oakcliff....not just the hood. Maybe I'm a little to sensitive but what is special about driving thru the hood as you call it. If I have missed the point of this video my apologies but I just see someone driving saying look at the hoods of Dallas, this is what it looks like in the hood, stay away if you dare. I look forward to your reply.
I don't drive through all of anywhere, it's not possible This is TH-cam and there doesn't have to be a purpose. People can post as they please, as long as it's within the guidelines. I grew up on the east side of Detroit in a high crime area, and I developed a hobby of filming areas similar to where I grew up, now I do it all over the country. This is a niche channel that everyone wont like, I can live with that. There are also channels that show nice areas, I do too occasionally perhaps you should check those out, but you can't come on someone channel and tell them what they should and should not be posting when there are so many choices on TH-cam.
Nah. It’s the oldest section of the city. They stopped investing in the area about 50 years ago and shit just started to decay. Meanwhile, the rest of the city continued to get investment and they never stopped building it up.
Some of those things are diy projects and many of us unlike our grandfather's unfortunately are skilless.we need to obtain these skills. No excuses. I moved to the country and started experimenting in old barns . and gained a degree of carpentry skills and got a decent looking place . But I agree . def in need of home improvement plans .

@@cflmotorizedbikes6788 Most places are fine to drive around during the day, but it gets more interesting once the sun goes down. For me, I grew up in S. Dallas (Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, & Lancaster area) during the 1980's - 2000's, and I got to see the cultural demographics change once I moved out to Ellis County (around 2005). Anyone who lived in the surrounding neighborhoods close to the Trinity River, West Dallas, or even East Dallas wanted to get away from the crime that occurred on a constant basis (unless you were economically stuck in staying). The flipside of the migration to S. Dallas was that the longtime residents didn't feel safe with everyone from the inner cities moving into their neighborhoods, which is typical anyways (nobody likes to see change like this). Some stayed and others decided to p/u their families and move to greener pastures. Well that's just my take on my experience of living in Dallas in general...

@@joelspivak6622 😒😒
Lol. We don't have cookouts in the south. Fish fry, crawfish boils, block party and barbeques.
family barbecues, fiends, drug dealers, playaz, gangstaz, lone wolves, homeless, hoes, barbecues between crackheads that park is definitely tha "spot" in south dallas
I actually was thinking about doin this fr this shit can be big maybe documentaries
U should do more videos of Htown
I like to did you capture all the inner city and hoods every where
Yeah, oak cliff isnt a "hood". Soory. Not sorry. Go to Baltimore, Chi-raq, Greenville, SC, Montogomery. AL, Orange Blossom Trail, FL...THOSE peeps in Oak Cliff got it sweet.
Your a whiteboy your opinion is invalid here💁🏽♂️
Says the one who says oak cliff housing is the draw if it isn’t a good the why did you start watching it in the first place 😤🤔🤔🤬
Go to oak cliff at night you will see the real hood.
Charlie, your videos have been most helpful to me and I'd like to give you something in return.
The South and West sides of any "hood" are the worst followed by the east side as it's hard to determine who's in control. North side "hoods" are more educated. Make the comparison for yourself.
No just cause u hea hat being said more don't mean shit
In what part of Dallas is Peabody St. Located. I haven't been to Dallas in a very long time. And why are the Hoods of Dallas videoed so much. When I was going I loved all of Dallas. I was born in the 1960 Era.
I like how good they keep the grass mowed, only 5”-8”.
Used to live on Maryland off of Saner(Oak Cliff). Used to score over on Bexar & Valentine(South Dallas) Bon Ton.
I never knew Dallas had this side to it,I always envision this being one of the wealthiest cities in the country
Dallas has everything it's a big city. The wealthy shit you see on TV is North Dallas, uptown, and the northern suburbs. You go south of I-30 is where a lot of the poor people live.
South Dallas is were the black people at

@@CharlieBo313 I also stated that maybe I wasn't understanding the reason for the video but you explained just now and thanks for that.
charlie you should do the southern border towns, those are truly kicked and forgotten.
i moved to north dallas from nyc in 2019 people told me DO NOT MOVE TO ANY TOWN BELOW DALLAS..i can see why
Lmao. This is only a small portion. The entire area isn’t like this.
U right on my side of town too
No there's lots of people there that are not gay it's a lot of the old working poor

Was South Dallas old country rural neighborhoods that got annexed? Does match the rest of the city to well.
Nah. It’s the oldest section of the city. They stopped investing in the area about 50 years ago and shit just started to decay. Meanwhile, the rest of the city continued to get investment and they never stopped building it up.
I bet dat shit be darker than a MF at night!!!
The time from 0 to 6:00 was the City of Oak Cliff, South Oak Cliff to be exact. And from 6:20 on out was the Souf side of Dallas

I see you never did long Beach California
You would think the residents in south Dallas, Texas would buy those old homes and apartment complexes fix them up and flip them to build wealth.

After reading more comments, you don't comment. I won't be subscribing to this channel that exploits neighborhoods. It just tells me the mindset of the followers.
Happy trails to you. Good thing money is made from views.
Annnd they had to put a VA clinic in that area...
The Aerohead Experience Neighborhoods like this tend to have a high ratio of veterans. Make sense to put a clinic there.
Philly, Boston, ALL the old cities and MOST of the 200k + cities in the South.
1:05 is that a honda smart push mower in the box? Know that nigga stole that lol.
Cuzz thats not even nowhere near south dallas. Yeah you where in southern dallas but not south dallas the hood. There is a difference. You were rolling in oak cliff. A hood of southern dallas......

Last time I was in Dallas visiting my brother showed me a lot of homeless people, living on the streets, in the parks. And this was in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Richardson.
Go to jojo world at night. Also I love your videos.
I live in Richland hills , 30 minutes from dallas, I avoid the highways up their, people are impatient.
Try driving on highways in cities such as Boston or Miami to see what is really driver impatience!

@@mikealdana8012 cedar hill, duncaville, desoto is not south dallas. Still interested to hear how it was in the 80s though, was it hood? I think it's pretty hood now. You drive by some of the poorly built houses in Desoto they look ghetto, bricks falling off n everything
