  • The Academic Upgrading for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Adults program (georgebrown.ca/deafupgrading) is the only college program of its kind in Toronto, with all courses taught in American Sign Language (ASL). The program is for those Deaf and hard-of-hearing students who want to upgrade their English, ASL, math and computer skills for success in further education, training or employment. New students can join the program each month. There is no tuition fee for this program. The program is funded by Employment Ontario through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
