i am a big Olivia Rodrigo fan ,,, it feels like she could have been more present with this song. They started with a G major chord, then soon put their index finger on the 1st fret of the B string to make a suspended chord (called a "sus" chord), then soon lifted off their index finger to make a G major chord again, then soon made the sus chord again. After that sequence repeated they made a C major chord then D major then C major chord again then D major chord again. Then the chord progression of the chorus was A minor, C major, G major, D major. After that they repeated the entire sequence when singing more verses and the chorus again. There is no E minor chord in the song. Folks who are not skilled guitar players probably didn't realize that the gals were changing from G major chord to a sus chord, then back again. Those folks may not even know what suspended chords are. Sheryl & Olivia both did a great job.
Olivia doesn't have the voice for this song. Particularly the lower range. Olivia is a great srtist btw but HER would have made a good pairing having the lower range for the song. It's all in good fun though, and maybe she was Sheryl's choice.
