This is hypocrites sign , iqamat e deen ia farz upon everyone, what are u going to answer when Allah will ask my deen was being changed, it was being misinterpreted, alcohol was allowed, adultery was allowed! Will u answer i was performing surgeries?

First of all, Muslims wouldn't fight for their own interest or for mere victory.
Its for establishing the rule of Allah and remove oppression.
Pls read Quran properly and see how Allah wanted Bani Israel to take charge of a city after rescuing them from the oppression of Firaun, but they didn't support Musa a.s. and Allah then punished them for 40 years and then another generation of their people came up and took over.
