Everyone saw that he lacked physical strength, but Erskine saw his strength of character. And that’s the same thing Steve has seen in Sam all these years. And it's not because it's worn on another hand or something, both Cap and Sam wear it on their left hand. So that means this new shield is purposely different from the original.
Someone did the timeline matching and figured out that it lines up so that when Thor summoned moljnier to jump off a balcony he caught it in mid air, except this time future Thor has it, soon, Thor might have fallen off a balcony
That also could just be because marvel can now say adimantium. Before they acquired fox they couldn't say it because it was an xmen thing. In the comics caps shield is made proto- adimantium and just incase yah didn't know proto adimantium is made of vibranium Steel and an unknown catalyst (a quote from Wikipedia.)
Maybe he used moljnir to make the shield? Or maybe the powers of moljnir were transferred into a new shield. (I have like no evidence for this, but moljnir isn’t anywhere to be seen and he does come back with a new shield.) Or since he went to the past maybe he talked to Tony or Howard Stark about making him a new shield before either of them died and after explaining his issue without disrupting their new time line, Tony or Howard made him a new one.
It'll be something about sacrifice, which is how Steve proved himself. The shield will grant power (or whatever it does) to whosoever has a "throwing himself on a grenade to save the squad" moment.
The one thing I'm confused from in Endgame is when Cap returns the stones how did he put the power stone into his hand ,then into the orb, then into a laser force field thingy?
Didn't they get it from Starlord? Who was supposed to sell or whatever, but in the end it end up at the hands of the government, Cap probably just delivered right to their hands afterwards
@@HomeofLawboy But aren't they supposed to put it back where they got it to not make a bad alternate timeline? And they knocked Peter out and then got the orb from where it was stored.

I agree. This is gonna sound bad because of the whole assassin thing, but I really look up to Natasha. And the fact that she's a regular human makes it feel more achieveable.
I'm not so sure now but way back when this show was announced I thought there was going to be short scenes every episode of Steve and Peggy in the past where Steve sees something that makes him appreciate who Sam was. 7/9 of them would be him recognising Sam's qualities in others, but 8th one would be him actually meeting a young Sam and him standing up against bullies (maybe even saying "I could do this all day"), and then 9th one would be him seeing Sam as a grown man starting his grief counseling thing he was running in Cap 2 despite suffering hard himself because being a protector of others came second nature to him
Something I wanted to bring up: USAgent is a character from the comics and is actually a well stablished hero in his own right. The difference being that while Cap is a patriot, he's also the first to tell the government to stuff it if they step out of line, while USAgent is very much a "follow orders" guy. What I hope is that the show goes with that, and rather than make him a villain, he'll be more of a well-intentioned government agent (or puppet even) that only works against Sam and Bucky because clashing ideologies rather than mustache-twirling schemes.
I think that by what you said, and the trailer sam is the head and bucky the brawn, type of situation. They both collectivly make up captain america, I think thats why the show is called the falcon and the winter soldier. And I also think this is why the clip of falcon throwing the shield and bucky catching it exists 💪🐼💜
I think it would be cool if they switch the mantle of Captain America from one to the other and maybe back. They aren't going to, but I think that would be interesting and pretty cool to watch. Like maybe Sam becomes the new Cap and then gets hurt (or whatever plot device) and Bucky has to take over the roll indefinitely until Sam gets better, something like that.
It would make sense for the shield to have some sort of “power” just like how he has his wing suit. He wouldn’t have been as affective if he didn’t have that. While Cap does have the shield he has also been shown running through walls and doors to pursue someone. So I believe Sam will need the shield to give a little more than just being nearly indestructible... We shall see!
It's so funny, cause Sam was one of my favorite characters from the captain America films. I loved his and Cap's interactions and that... Cap had a legit loyal friend again who was just a solid guy without tricks and betrayals or brainwashing.
You did us and Falcon & The Winter Soldier a disservice by only making one video about this amazing show!!!!!! It’s literally incredible and we only got one video from you about it 😭 we need more!!!!!!! I think you should start doing reviews after finishing every tv show like you do with movies!!
I’m still a bit mad that Steve went back to Peggy. Not that I’m mad he’s not in the MCU anymore, but because it got rid of all the character development Peggy went through in Agent Carter
Sadly it seems like any of the Marvel shows that came before WandaVision will not be canon. They've hinted that WandaVision is the only show that's officially part of the MCU, aside from the movies
The time travel in the MCU is traveling to alternate timelines. So the Agent Carter series would have still occurred, and the timeline Steve lived out his life in was a separate one. And yeah it is unfortunate that Agent Carter and Agents of Shield have been so ignored by the MCU films. Then Agents of Shield just gave up, and completely stopped trying to be a part of it.
I think he gave Sam it for a few reasons. For one, he knew he was a good man. For another, as proven in Civil War, anyone can rebrainwash Bucky if they have the right words. Steve was probably worried the same would happen again, and then they would have the Captain America under their control.
Honestly, this is one of the coolest theories I’ve heard about the new shield. Also, I did know that the final battle from Avengers: Endgame was called the Battle of Earth.
Did they ever mention what kind of supply of Pym Particles Steve had with him? They were rationing them the first time through because they didn't have anyone who could make more, but by the time Steve went to set the timelines straight, they could have had Hank manufacture quite a lot. So that would mean Steve would have easy access to Howard Stark, vibranium from Wakanda, and the forge at Nidavellir, all at the same "time".
I know I'm late, but two things: "The people of Wakanda gave Cap a shield and it didn't look like that"- there was an invading alien army approaching the border, they most likely did not have time to make one and simply gave him something they had in an armory. Second, they are kinda the masters of vibranium. I'm sure if he rolled up to alternate timeline T'challa, they could/would make him a new one during peace time easily. To say vibranium is a limited resource only applies if he solely went back to the 40s. All that to say, it would be cool to see an Odin-powered Cap shield
4:09 fun fact, Thanos's "proper" name would technically be Thanatos. Reason being Thanos is an Eternal (with a disease that makes him look like a deviant) and pretty much all of the Eternals are named after figures from mythology (or depending on how you want it to work, they are the in-universe inspiration for those myths and such), mostly Greco-Roman, but there are a couple others represented as well. Thanos comes from Thanatos, the Greek personification of Death (which ties in well with his comic story).
Omg I love this theory! I had the same feeling about Sam taking over Cap's role. All the background story we got for Steve is what made him Captain America. You can't just pass over that role to someone else. Besides, I don't think Sam has to have that title. He already is his own super hero and a pretty cool one at that! I really hope the show will head in the direction you described. Not to make Sam the new Cap, but let him grow as the hero he already is.
My theory, because I don't know how to mind my on business. So, I think Sam will struggle being Captain America and lose self - confidence in the process. But in the end, he will actually get his confidence back by beating US Agent and finally be worthy of being Captain America. Meanwhile Buckey, (there has to be a spelling error there) will want to be Cap but in the end realise that, unlike Sam, Steve doesn't want _him_ to be Cap, he wants Buckey to be Buckey, and that way no shield for him, just my thoughts
What do you think? Will Sam’s New Shield have powers?

Some leaked marketing has called the new shield an "adamantium shield." Meaning it could also be a hint towards wolverine
If that were true it would be like trying to throw a Frisbee made of lead...
I kinda didn't care too much when he got the shield, but this show will probably change that
Maybe he used moljnir to make the shield? Or maybe the powers of moljnir were transferred into a new shield.
(I have like no evidence for this, but moljnir isn’t anywhere to be seen and he does come back with a new shield.)
Or since he went to the past maybe he talked to Tony or Howard Stark about making him a new shield before either of them died and after explaining his issue without disrupting their new time line, Tony or Howard made him a new one.
Mjolnir is nowhere to be seen because cap brought it back to the thor 2 timeline.
It'll be something about sacrifice, which is how Steve proved himself. The shield will grant power (or whatever it does) to whosoever has a "throwing himself on a grenade to save the squad" moment.
The one thing I'm confused from in Endgame is when Cap returns the stones how did he put the power stone into his hand ,then into the orb, then into a laser force field thingy?
wow! i’ve never thought of this
Didn't they get it from Starlord? Who was supposed to sell or whatever, but in the end it end up at the hands of the government, Cap probably just delivered right to their hands afterwards
@@HomeofLawboy But aren't they supposed to put it back where they got it to not make a bad alternate timeline? And they knocked Peter out and then got the orb from where it was stored.
@@spaceygamez actually yeah, you're right. I was misremembering it. They put so much in the hands of Steve in this mission. But assuming he can change a little bit for his own benefit (like in ben's theory) or for the benefit of the timeline, my reasoning could still hold
@@HomeofLawboy all this stuff is just weird and full of holes... i’ll give marvel a pass on that return mission as long as they address the soul stone return and staying behind with peggy in a movie/show
I love your channel's high energy and enthusiasm that you bring to each video. I wish you enjoyment in what paths you choose.
Maybe the real shield was the friends we made along the way
Okay, but that star with the rings analogy is some top notch theory stuff right there. My jaw dropped at how parallel it was. There are so many good jokes in here that are not pointed out in the comments. Love it!
Ever wonder what he does in between the jump cuts where he changes the location of his chair?
I’m so glad you guys finally noticed the shield differences. I saw it say one and was always talking at work about it.
What a great theory, way better then anything we thought up
*USAgent shows up for the first time*
Me: Aaaaand there’s the villain.
When are you making more videos about the falcon and winter soldier. Finished it and now keep checking to see if you’ve made a video about it. Please I need it 😂
Hey Brother. Are y’all having a snowstorm in Roanoke as well? We are in Tennessee. It’s horrible 🧐
Sounds like its on the horizon
We are in NC hope it doesn't hit us
We are in ohio!!
Its gonna be -23 F here in CO
I love the SCB signature chair adjustments throughout the videos.
If anybody can be Hawkeye then anyone can be Black Widow. I think that is actually inspiring, not something to be ridiculed.
7/9 of them would be him recognising Sam's qualities in others, but 8th one would be him actually meeting a young Sam and him standing up against bullies (maybe even saying "I could do this all day"), and then 9th one would be him seeing Sam as a grown man starting his grief counseling thing he was running in Cap 2 despite suffering hard himself because being a protector of others came second nature to him
I wanted to see bucky get it and do a redemption arc
Something I wanted to bring up: USAgent is a character from the comics and is actually a well stablished hero in his own right. The difference being that while Cap is a patriot, he's also the first to tell the government to stuff it if they step out of line, while USAgent is very much a "follow orders" guy.
What I hope is that the show goes with that, and rather than make him a villain, he'll be more of a well-intentioned government agent (or puppet even) that only works against Sam and Bucky because clashing ideologies rather than mustache-twirling schemes.
I always just assumed Steve got the new shield by having Howard Stark make him another one?
He definitely could have time hopped to Wakanda, got Vibranium, and then time hopped to Howard Stark and ask him.
Yes but how would that work? The shield looks different to the older shield, and howard didn't have more vibranium.
Y'all are the best!!!!!!
I love how you build up tension before jumping into the intro and the video.
Congrats to Everyone Who is early and who found this Comment’💚

Nice
Thanks,if you’re not a bot
Hey, this isn’t how you get subs, maybe.... idk, try not to annoy everyone?
He's been perfectly fine in the comics without powers as Cap so it wouldn't be necessary
It's so funny, cause Sam was one of my favorite characters from the captain America films. I loved his and Cap's interactions and that... Cap had a legit loyal friend again who was just a solid guy without tricks and betrayals or brainwashing.
me, a shipper four seconds into the trailer: hurt/comfort, angst with a happy ending, 5k, sambucky.
me, immediately after: why am i like this
You did us and Falcon & The Winter Soldier a disservice by only making one video about this amazing show!!!!!!
I think “USAgent” will lead the thunderbolts, be like thunderbolt Ross’s man in the group
possible. do you think we'll get Red Hulk and if so, will it be Ross himself or someone else?

Hey Brother!
Honestly, this is one of the coolest theories I’ve heard about the new shield. Also, I did know that the final battle from Avengers: Endgame was called the Battle of Earth.
Plot twist. Peggy Schuyler used time travel and became Steve’s girlfriend.....
omg, I wish but sadly that ain't it....
Ahhh yes the perfect way to cap off my Thursday! Thanks guys!
CAP off! I see what you did there!
@@SuperCarlinBrothers I didn’t even realize 😂
I think your wrong about why Steve brought Sam
Uncle sam
Did they ever mention what kind of supply of Pym Particles Steve had with him? They were rationing them the first time through because they didn't have anyone who could make more, but by the time Steve went to set the timelines straight, they could have had Hank manufacture quite a lot. So that would mean Steve would have easy access to Howard Stark, vibranium from Wakanda, and the forge at Nidavellir, all at the same "time".

I know I'm late, but two things:
"The people of Wakanda gave Cap a shield and it didn't look like that"- there was an invading alien army approaching the border, they most likely did not have time to make one and simply gave him something they had in an armory.

Great theory, been a while since ive seen one this good. Solid effort mate
Lol
4:09 fun fact, Thanos's "proper" name would technically be Thanatos. Reason being Thanos is an Eternal (with a disease that makes him look like a deviant) and pretty much all of the Eternals are named after figures from mythology (or depending on how you want it to work, they are the in-universe inspiration for those myths and such), mostly Greco-Roman, but there are a couple others represented as well. Thanos comes from Thanatos, the Greek personification of Death (which ties in well with his comic story).
I’ve made it first I’ve succeeded in my life
Nope
Omg I love this theory! I had the same feeling about Sam taking over Cap's role. All the background story we got for Steve is what made him Captain America. You can't just pass over that role to someone else. Besides, I don't think Sam has to have that title. He already is his own super hero and a pretty cool one at that! I really hope the show will head in the direction you described. Not to make Sam the new Cap, but let him grow as the hero he already is.
Well i seem first but I’m probably not
Not
In Age of Ultron Cap could “call back the shield” with a magnetic band
Bucky's name is James Buchanan, not Buckingham
My theory, because I don't know how to mind my on business. So, I think Sam will struggle being Captain America and lose self - confidence in the process. But in the end, he will actually get his confidence back by beating US Agent and finally be worthy of being Captain America. Meanwhile Buckey, (there has to be a spelling error there) will want to be Cap but in the end realise that, unlike Sam, Steve doesn't want _him_ to be Cap, he wants Buckey to be Buckey, and that way no shield for him, just my thoughts
