It's almost as if voting for neoliberal capitalists with blue and red colours election after election whose sole job is to accumulate the number of yachts for these corporations while taking more from the commoner was not a good idea. But they manage to trick people by trying to divide people along racial, religious, gender, abortion lines so that people infight and keep these neoliberal capitalists in power perpetually while the neoliberal capitalist system makes life bad for everyone regardless of race, religion, and gender by taking more from them and giving even more to the small few birth advantaged yacht collectors. Don't you ever wonder why the media is always trying to stir up racial, religious, and gender conflict? They never come out and say breaking news for the past 4 decades neoliberal capitalism has been making the rich born richer while causing inflation, wage stagnation, unaffordable housing, unaffordable food, unaffordable gas, cutting health and education, for the majority of the population regardless of racial, religious, and gender differences. When will people wake up and stop willingly giving power to their oppressors I don't know.

Never would have guessed Rogers was your "parent company"; what with all the hard hitting questions you asked like "why does the Canadian government allow these companies to have monopolies" or "if they keep experiencing mass outages like this every year, could it be because of all the outsourcing they are doing with jobs overseas?" or "how can this same problem have occurred last year, and this year? Could it be their network is not as secure as they claim?" Oh, that's right you didn't ask ANY of these questions. Just a soft ball story.

Its great that Rogers is crediting all their cell phone and television customers (but seriously why would you pay for any service from Rogers moving forward) - but what about EVERY Canadian who couldn't use an ATM or had automatic monthly payments not withdrawn from their CIBC account causing havoc with creditors? This had me scrambling on Saturday to correct the problems caused by Rogers....what do I get for my time? Rogers is responsible for every business in Canada on Friday not earning their usual income. They OWE every Canadian. BOYCOTT ROGERS and the government needs to legislate improved banking practices that no longer rely on Rogers. Ted Turner turned hundreds of times in his grave on Friday...and rightly so.

The solution to this is very simple, I used to work for the telecom
industry... If a customer looses communication with their service
provider, whether due to an outage or lack of cell phone network
coverage, a competitor cell phone provider may step in and offer to
provide service from a notification on the persons cell phone. Once
acknowledged, the carrier that stepped in can then charge the original
provider a " reasonable charge " to assist the customer with service.
No extra charge to the customer will be applied, the charge will be
directed to the original provider. The minimum/maximum days this can go
on for would need to be created by the CRTC / Federal Government. What
this will do is... better QA (quality assurance) when rolling out
"updates" and force providers to provide better coverage in "dead zones"
and rural areas. This may also lower overall billing to customers
since the "reasonable charge" would be based on the customers invoice
    charge.

So you get your class action lawsuit, court awards a billion dollars and then what - everyone gets hit with higher bills because Rogers is going to do whatever it can to maintain profits and Bell is going to go along with any excuse to hike their own profts.

Roger's has been fighting takeover bids and is strapped for cash. They are trying to reduce overhead and wages. They've obviously gutted their network maintenance and engineering department by either outsourcing or, more likely from their excuses, they are depending on their equipment suppliers to provide their tech support.

Rogers and affiliated mobile services , they only will credit only 2 days worth of credit ! That’s it !!! Almost everyone lost too much money in digital sales services and communications errors . That’s nearly not enough ! This is happening once per year now . While everyone’s monthly average is at least $100-$200 .
