Getting approved is one thing, getting the top-tier rate is another. My credit union starts top tier at 780, for Tesla it seems like it is 720+ for the top rate.
Dennis, love the content and trying to get a Tesla soon. One thing to note for your viewers when it comes to TENET as I was exited to get qualified through them and proceed with finance is… they will not approve ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY MEMBERS…😢. Good credit and income but because I’m currently serving my country I will not be considered for a loan…

my experian says trans union, equifax, and experian are all at credit scores of 720+.. but the capital one credit wise is lower at 620.. idk who's correct..... very frustrating idk who to trust.
When you applied did they use your Experian or creditwise?
@@mannysilvestre6214 i don't know.. I think ?maybe? they used "FICO" whatever that means
So, credit wise is a vantage score ( this is not used typically) the experian is using fico which is what is used by almost all lenders traditionally. So go off your experian and other scores you saw not your credit wise.
700-799 is way to broad of a range to get an understanding of approval odds. Even a 750 can be drastically different in the rates you get from a 700

If you are a first time buyer with no other history you will need to put more then20% down
I wanted to do an application to see if i could get approved for a lease or loan. Does anyone know if the non refundable fee has to be paid before I can simply apply to confirm approval first? I dont want to waste money, $250 if I dont get approved!
$250 is refundable
250 is refundable if you get approved. Now all because you get approved it doesn’t mean it’s going to be viable for you. If you do get approved but the terms are too much for you, you wouldn’t be eligible for a refund.

When i applied thru the tesla website they ran thru lenders then gave me the best one
I got approved with a 540 credit score 1k down for the model 3

@@jasonyurrrr9994my credit score was 660 when I got financed for my Model 3 in December 2022. All Tesla financing required $4,500 down. You should be good with anything over 650 if your net annual income is at least equal to the purchase price of the car.
