Thank you for making this informative review video on the transformer 2 foldable scooter This is a fantastic product and will be my next purchase thank you so kindly You're the best in the business.
The charger should not be an additional purchase. LiFePO4 batteries are a must. They are much safer. Lithium-Ion batteries are causing fires and killing consumers. Nice review.
The charger comes with the chair. Marc in this video was speaking about an additional docking station that can be purchased if you want to charge it that way. The charger that comes with the scooter would plug into the tiller and charge the battery. Hope this clears up the misunderstanding.
Great review. Just got this scooter delivered today, and watched this and your unboxing videos before I opened the box. Got everything put together, while trying to sync the fob, I got no beep when pressing the "open" button on the fob, so I'll be contacting Enhanced Mobility for a replacement fob. One question - I need to register it for warranty purposes, but where are the model/serial numbers located? I haven't found them yet. 🙂
We register the mobility device for the customer before we ship them out. You would need to contact the store you bought it from to see if they registered it for you. As for the model and serial numbers, on this chair it should be under the seat on the frame. You may have the info you're looking for on the invoice from the mobility store.
On all of our videos there is a description box beneath the video, in there it will give you a description on what the video is about and has a link to our website and sometimes to the webpage of the unit being reviewed. Figured I'd let you know for future reference. Im attaching a link to the web page of this unit. In the specifications tab, it will show you all of the specs of this unit. The turning radius of this unit is 55", you will be able to find more information about this unit on the link/ Hope this helps! marcsmobility.com/enhance-mobility-transformer-automatic-folding-mobility-scooter-new.html
I have one of these Solax transformers and love it, however I have had several problems with it, they are:- (1) The two screws that hold each foot plate on to the steering cross arm fell out due to road vibrations, this is because no one at the factory had put Adhesive Threadlocker on the screw to stop them coming undone. (2) Even though I regularly tightened the locking screws the arm rests kept falling down so I put diagonal braces on the arm rests to hold them up. (3) The screws holding the back rest fell out and I had to replace them, they should have been fitted with nylon self locking nuts. (4) Four months after buying my mobility scooter three tiny screws holding the remote control together, fell out scattering parts in all directions, Solax failed to replace it under warranty. Solax could do better and should do better, their good name is suffering.
You can find the price on our website. I am attaching it for your convenience. marcsmobility.com/enhance-mobility-transformer-automatic-folding-mobility-scooter-new.html

what are the folded dimensions on this? im looking for something i can put in a mazda miata trunk with an opening of 32 inches x14 inches
Its about 24" wide, 18" deep, and about 25.5" high
Can you disconnect the reverse beeping sound? It is terribly annoying
I agree it is annoying but there is no way we have found to disconnect it
The turning radius?
