Mark "Action" Jackson and Kenny "The Jet" Smith 2 of NYC's best Point Guards, I could listen to these 2 chop it up on the regular, sign Kenny to the show lol 😂 great chemistry and knowledge from the OG's!
Kenny dropping TRUTH bombs!!!! Probably the most succinct breakdown of the eras between defense, rule changes, play strategy vs playground I've ever heard. ☮💜🏀
Mark Jackson is Truly One Of 1... What an Amazing Man, Father, Friend and Representative.. I Salute You For Always Coming Threw With The Message... Powerful Words... I love it Brother... 💪🏾💯 God Bless You Champ. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I need Kenny ADDED to this show #1 Request.... #2 Request is to make this podcast for 1 Hour at Minimum... Too much content, stories and laughter to b shared and Enjoyed!! Need MORE PLEASE😁😎
Another classic episode of The Mark Jackson Show and Kenny was spitting facts too. His and Mark comradery is really great and had me laughing along like Bluu was 😂😆 They definitely need to have The Jet as a regular more often and/or guest every so often.
Yall missed the point. In the 1980s, early in MJ's nba career, it was known MJ's weakness was going left. Ice Man was tearing up a young MJ because of that weakness during the playoffs
@@TheKos2KosMJ averaged 42 against Gervin and never played him in the playoffs, plus they were on the same team MJs 2nd year and Ice Man’s final year, so not sure how he tore him up…
@@JSmoothPyeah these guys missing the point. MJ improved his left but at the same time just bc they say MJ was weaker to his left, which is natural for right handed players, he was still better to his left than most left handed players. Again apart of this narrative to ring MJ down to bring him levels bc they already tried ti uplift as their guys as far as they can. A common tactic used throughout history
@@DTraiN5795 he never had to go left, the same way Kareem never had to develop a post up fadeaway. There’s no reason to go left when no one can stop you from going right 🤣🤣. They try to downplay him so much it’s absurd, making him go left consisted of 2 people fouling him while going right then a 3rd hitting him out of the air.
Man, I'm so glad that I came up on this on the Tube. Mark Jackson's perspectives are held in extremely high esteem for me and to be doing his Podcast with his son is one of the best things ever. Kudos. Mad Kudos...
Kenny thanks soo much for shedding some light on that topic for the young guys. Have the prospective of seeing the eras in real time allows you to compare them on a different lv
Mark Jackson and Kenny Smith you guys are wrong for not giving us more time, You guys are incredible two great basketball minds. With all the discussion about old school and current basketball we needed someone to bridge the gap for understanding and Mark Jackson you and your son are pulling it off thank you! Now I have to go read about Vince Smith
Great video. Kenny Smith breaks down the generational difference in probably the most articulate and logical way I've seen anyone do. He needs to be on the show more.
Kenny came to show y’all why he should’ve had your seat nephew lmao and Mark wild for that stray he shot, “Our last guest couldn’t get up” 🤣 mark def from ny
Great episode! I'm glad Kenny was able to school Blu just as Mark does when it comes to generation comparisons! Love the show and most definitely Rest In Peace to Juice! The greatest RB of all time (college and pros)
I would love to get Kenny and Mark's take on Wilt Chamberlain since talent translates to any generation. Nobody even comes close to owning as many nba records as Wilt.
Another Great podcast w/Mark Sr and Kenny!! I think he is talkin about those Euro players who seem to b "Great" in today's NBA which I barely watch cuz there is NO defense being played in Most games
It's still impressive, but it's slightly overblown. LeBron has played one more season than Kareem, and even if you include playoff games, he's still played 18 games less. And LeBron hasn't missed very many games do to actual injuries. They were mostly rest days, which players back then didn't really do.
Kenny is right about MJ being " arguably" the most fundamentally sound player because he went to college and stayed 3 years, but he also forgot to mention that he played for one of the greatest coaches ever......Dean Smith.
Wonderful commentary by Kenny Smith. These “wonder years” really think they are “nice” based on the salary they earn. Not understanding that it is based on market demand. 👏🏼👏🏽👏🏻👏
Mark came thru wit the message at the end !! RIP Uncle O
tHAT wAS dOPE!!!
Mark's closing quotes be so 🔥. R.I.P. Uncle O🐐
Rip Juice! Best father and son duo on the net

"Now everybody can wear what they want, now they wearing do rags".
Damn Kenny why I gotta catch a stray. 😭🤣🤣
Kenny is probably 1 of the most well rounded basketball player turn broadcaster in the business by far..... love that guy
And it’s because he has a selflessness that comes through
Yeah kenny smith is that dude
Kenny dropping TRUTH bombs!!!! Probably the most succinct breakdown of the eras between defense, rule changes, play strategy vs playground I've ever heard. ☮💜🏀

Mark is wild! Can I stand up? Yes, but our last guest couldn't! 😅
He’s getting comfortable and that’s what we need
“Can i standup”…. “Yea our last guest couldnt” lmaooooo
The camera guy on blue after that comment was nicely timed lmao
Mark really a savage 😅😂😂
Asking Kenny about average players is like asking charles barkley about san antanio women 😂
Thank You so much Kenny Smith & Mark Jackson MJ is the best ever complete player the best ever! The Goat 🐐
Excellent interview. Kenny dropped major gem and perfectly articulated the difference between NBA of today and the NBA of the Jordan era!
We love Kenny because mark can’t be up tight no more 😂😂😂 .
Agree 100% on this comment!

LBJ has missed roughly 212 games in his career! That's a little over 2 and a half NBA seasons. Let's re-examine that longevity.
He's played that many playoff games no need to reevaluate considering he's still playing
It's still impressive, but it's slightly overblown. LeBron has played one more season than Kareem, and even if you include playoff games, he's still played 18 games less.
