Is it distorted throughout or at certain peaks? I’m not an audiophile so all I know about is keeping within acceptable levels and not letting it clip. In my experience when promos are delivered by the production company or graphic designer the audio is often way too loud.
To be honest I’m not sure. I’ve got things on Mini DV Cam, VHS and DVD. Some BBC News, some entertainment from other channels. I’d love to go through the old tapes and get the late 90s adverts.
When I was younger I used to get my friend who worked in that department to copy stuff off the server to digital tape. It’s probably not as good as the master but not far off, I think.

@@paianis Just checked, I reduced the audio by 8db in the edit. The original was pretty loud.

Yep! I drew my thought from someone else's (likely) VHS recording they made that showed those animations being used like that.
Exactly right! They were used for different things to be explained on news.

I don’t think so but if I find something on my old tapes I will upload it.
