I had the same issue - turns out on your water pump there are 2 “weep” holes which start to leak when the seal of the water pump starts to fail.
    Contaminated coolant will cause this.
I had replace my water pump an luckily the leak went away.
    Hope this helps

I ended up having to replace the intake manifold gasket. The gasket was cheep but it took a day or two to take everything needed apart or off, cleaning it, replacing it and putting it back together.

Did it turn out to be leaking from the thermostat housing? Seems like it splashed out from that area and was pooling underneath it.

My trailblazer with the 4200 is leaking on the driver side in the front. I see it on the frame but I can’t see where from. Irritating as hell
