This was our first time visiting São Miguel Island where the port of Ponta Delgada and village of Sete Cidades are located.

Beautiful video of my home island, I advise You the next time you visit stay for a week or two , there is so much more to the Island then those two places .I also live in Canada and it’s a beautiful Country as well but my roots and my heart are in that amazing Island of São Miguel. Keep up the good work!

I’m so glad to see your video! Royal Caribbean has taken off the excursion reviews so passengers can no longer read the reviews & decide if they want to do the ship’s ridiculously expensive tours. I’m afraid to think of what this port will look like 5 yrs from now after the cruise ships take over with their jewelry stores & expensive restaurants. I wanted to do the 4 wheel drive safari but Odyssey of the Seas wants $139 USD pp. I looked online & the same 3 hr tour is $45… RCCL is gouging their passengers & it needs to stop. I’m so glad u enjoyed your tour bc it looks like a lovely place. I’ll be there in May 2025, but not on a ship’s shore excursion!

I wasn't aware that Royal Caribbean let passenger's leave reviews in the past. They really should. Most ship tours are over priced as you have mentioned. Always good to look at other options.

Dear Gary unfortunately do you don’t see nothing from Azores. Azores it’s more then city and sete cidades lagoon. Next time do you pass from São Miguel island I guide you for places more beauties. Have a nice trip e nice to meet you.
