NTA gives different sets of questions, 24 sets. This is normal. Even for CBSE board exams, they give different sets to students. They also give region wise questions for CBSE board exam. This is normal and this might be a new concept for those who come from state board system.
1. NEET is a common entrance exam conducted on single day with single question paper. This is unlike JEE, where exam is conducted on multiple sessions with different set of question papers. But what happened in Neet 2024, which was conducted on 05.05.2024? Many sets of entirely different question papers were given to the examinees in many centers. This is arbitrary and it doesn't befit "common" exam. 2. Further, question paper leaks have been unearthed by police with judicial remand of the suspected persons. 3. The leaked question paper was available even before 05.05.2024. With the available technology, the question papers would have been circulated to many states by the vested interests. 4. As per the instructions contained in the Neet admit card, no person shall allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the exam. However, the candidates left the examination centre along with the question paper but were allowed to re-enter to write afresh with the same question paper in different language. 5. All the above infringement of the rights of others candidates and the act of NTA in giving entirely different question papers is arbitrary and against the fundamental concept of common entrance exam.
Similar situations arose during AIPMT 2015, the Supreme Court cancelled the exam after the results were declared and the initial counselling procedures were started...
