OMGOSH!!! All of these were great Mother's Day Gifts!! But, my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE was the photo canvas!! What a BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️ gift!! I'll definitely be making some of those for my Mother-in-law & Daughter!! If I made one of each, for my Mother-in-law... Would that be overkill, LOL!!

Hi Jackie! LOL! No not at all! I say celebrate as much as you can! And just remember. thin, even and semi dry is the key to mod podge! Then let it dry fully before adding the top coat. Perfect results every time!

I love the first candy bouquet. I think I would do a higher end candy other than a lolly pop if it's for a Mom or Grandmother. The Godiva bars or Ferro Roche chocolates would be nice, just glue to a treat stick that you can get at Michael's or some Dollar Tree stores sell.

And Debbie, Remember - thin, even & semi dry is the trick to mod podge! It may be a little frustrating until you get the hang of it, but it is worth it!!

Thanks! So glad you liked the Mother's Day DIY gift ideas! In regards to the hairspray, it kind of depends. As a general rule, anything from a printer should probably be sprayed but actually, the only reason I sprayed the one I did is because it was a photo of people and I didn't want to risk distorting the faces. However, for the printed impressionist painting for example, I didn't bother because I wasn't as concerned about any minor distortions. For things like the card and gift bag cut out, it is not necessary as the ink on the images do not run the risk of running. 😊💗

As always... such great ideas... love the candles and personal art style picture idea! Do you ever use glue sticks to adhere the picture ? I see that option and wondered does that decrease the crinkle issue... and then use a gentle spray to seal the project? Thanks for all of your creativity... Ellen from Pa
Hi Ellen. I do sometimes use glue sticks in different applications to apply labels or images but will only use mod podge for diys such as the ones in this video where I am going for a permanent, water resistant finish or, as with the canvases, going for a finish that will bond, almost fuse, the paper to the surface. Ooooo! That sounds awesome! I love PA Dutch cooking and was just thing about Lancaster. That pic of the kids when they were little is my favorite and it was taken at a hotel we used to go to all the time in the Dutch country and they had this wonderful PA Dutch buffet! Umm Umm Good!
