What you did is "aniamonho" - a disrespect. Challenging Otumfour to his power as a king and the rightful heir to accept or reject a paramount chief is a great disrespect and an insult to the Asante stool. In those days your punishment should have been the presentation of your heads to the Asante stool. As a law person, I know no one has the locus in law to challenge Otumfour's right to accept or reject a chief in the Asante Kingdom. Unless you guys are saying Offinso is not part of the Asante Kingdom. The history is clear. Otumfour has accepted and or rejected many chiefs of all kinds including paramount chiefs and no court has been able to turn that decision outside down because the whole of the Asante Kingdom in law belongs to the Asantehene. This is not an issue in Ghana. Even if there is no curse on asheam people, the Asantehene still has the legal right as the overlord of the Asante Kingdom to refuse to accept anyone he deems unqualified to be chief in his kingdom - the Asante Kingdom. The right thing to do is to go to Otumfour and explain or justify the qualification of the asheam people as heirs to the Offinso stool with traditional and historical proof. What you have done can never change what Otumfour has done. The queen mother should have spoken to Otumfour about the appointment of K.K. Sarpong as the next paramount chief before doing the announcement in public. Otumfour will not take back his words. K.K. Sarpong can not be chief of Offinso. It's finished.
