  • To my dearest brother. Oh he who heads Southward to a place more barbaric than hell. A place where even the devil himself soils his undergarments at the mere thought. God walks with you through the Hatch of Parris Island Brother Royku, and forever and always...
P.S. **Keep your hands out your pockets, Don't fall asleep on fire-watch, Don't touch your fucking face, DON'T LOOK AT YOUR D.I.'S and clean your pistol grip.**

It definitely gives you chills, makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up and a true feeling of pride doesn’t it. It is hard to believe how much Boot Camp and the Corp has changed over the years. Now they are once again reducing the size of our beloved Corp. I even read in one news item that the Sec of Defense wanted to eliminate the Corp completely. That would be a very sad day for America!

My dad became a army officer since he felt like since his father had bad conduct in the USMC but before he wanted to get some exercise so he became a merchant marine and when he was 18 he enlisted in the army when he was a specialist he was sent to Iraq served 2 phases in Iraq and 5 more deployments. When he was 22 he became a lieutenant then he was sent to Poland and when he was a first lieutenant he was sent to 4 more countries. One war zone others are normal deployments. Your husband went in one year before the infamous Tet Offensive, a real nightmare for all branches and where Marines shined despite their dificulties. I salute you for what all you went through while he was absent. The Corps has gone straight downhill after Nam. I would not share the same foxhole with a modern Marine any day of the week. God bless you ma'am, I pray your husband survived and came back home !

I am honored, and most fortunate to enjoy these cadence. A man born with an 1 1/4" + leg-length discrepancy, at least I can partake fully in my people all that my people have available for a civilian.
As I continue to seek meet with Mil, and no longer any civilian; I hope I can broaden my horizons later in life, but the society and politic you cultivate are still trustworthy.
I look forward to any of tomorrow's honest fight, and so far I've confidence enough in my ability to meet with these requirements.
As I continue to discover what I'm welcome to, I also by now look forward to hearing this and other cadence, march, etc. an interpretation; as I look forward to sharing what I know of my kin and own experiences encountering the criminal front out here in the civilian world.
As I'm going in for meeting military folks soon, I also hope that the way you all communicate (an orchestration, really) with me includes any primer or advise so I break neither a rule nor do I offend.
Here's to Our People's succession! The Marines are our finest.

My dad, Big Joe D was a Korean war Marine, and when I was a kid doing yard work with him, while taking out the leaf and grass filled trash bags, he would call that old school Marine, "Aaaap addle Aaa, Riiiiii Aaaap addle Laaa. Come football season for me and my brother, the old grizzled Marine, would lead us on a 3 man group run around the football field while calling out various Marine Corps cadence, "PT good for you, good for me", and every Saturday was room inspection, everything had its place, and every place was squared away, hospital corners and a 3 inch fold.
