Sorry about the quality, I will be moving to HD within my next 1 or 2 videos. As for the knife finish, it is neither satin nor black. It is mirror polished, shiny and reflective.
I have this knife and it's a quality knife for sure. Wicked sharp..The only thing that I wish it had was a bigger grip, just feels to small in my size 11 (XL) hands. Just hard for me to get a good grip on it. Other wise its an awesome knife..
@tabutog Not a great deal of difference. The A1 has a blade just over an inch longer than the S1, but other than that it is the same steel and blade shape and sheath. For survival either will do fine. A 5" or 6" blade length wont make much difference. Its personal choice at that point.
@Jordan3445 The best way is to avoid it in the first place by buying quality knives. Cheap knives will wobble side to side or quality knives that have been abused. If a fixed blade, then would mean the spike tang has become loose in handle and would need professional work. If folding blade, try tightening pivot screw. Other than that there is not much to be done. Stasying with good quality and not abusing is the best way to avoid the side wobble.
@tabutog its common sense they are all different size diff size diff tasks harder tasks that a smaller blade would have a hard time with , that questions is kind of dumb because they are all great knives from the F1 to the S1 or the A1 they are just made for diff tasks and how serious the task is
Many dont like the zytel sheeth and prefer the leather one, but the zytel sheeth has a lot of advantages, if it gets wet it dries up real fast, if you use it to skin a animal you can put the knife into the sheeth with blood and all on it without a second thought cause its real easy to rinse later on by pooring hot water through it, in the winter the knife wount get frozen to the sheeth wich can happen with leather sheeth, and they got a tape on diamond sharpener (D3t) that you can attach on the outside of the sheeth and then always got a diamond sharpener with you, and the zytel sheeth is ultra slim and light and yet strong and woun't break.. and the list goes on
I just found out that you had to close up shop...I'm sorry to hear that Bob. I really enjoyed your reviews. Thanks
Don't under estimate the sheaths for these knives, they are quite amazing and very well thought out

Excellent excellent review. Regards from Argentina.

whats the difference between the A1 and the S1which one is better for a survival knife.

..btw.. never ever "dig" with a knife.. carve yourself a digging stick and use that instead..

A Felleck-kneeven?
You were somewhat defensive about a very fine knife. Often times, less is more and Fallkniven is very much a case in point.
