If it makes you feel better Hamzah, I studied neuroscience in college, and in general the two paths after getting a neuroscience degree are getting an MD or PhD (or becoming a consultant for some kind of health company or working for a pharmaceutical company). Any of those paths are pretty soul-draining even if you're super passionate about the field, but for someone who's not, it would be insufferable. So it's probably for the best that the person left that field if they didn't feel strongly about it, and if their hobby didn't work out, they probably got a regular job that allowed them to have a much better work-life balance than any of those neuroscience pathways would. They would have quit the neuro path at some point anyway, so you definitely can't put all the blame on yourself. Don't worry about it! Peace ✌
