This is one of the most epic history mangas of all time i promise you, never get tired to pick up every episode week by week in the 4 years ive been reading it, progression is slow but very cohesive, the development is real, deaths matter heck Xin and his group practically grew along this series since it release in 2006

Ahh, Kingdom. Some of the most unbearably horrible CGI in the first season. Still, the story is amazing and while not necessarily true to history, is still quite entertaining as a source for information about the time, tbh. Hoping they'll be able to churn out these amazing seasons once every two or so years, for sure.
Once you get past the first two seasons the animation is a lot better stick it out, or you can read it, which is much farther in the story than the anime.
This anime deserves more love. It gets better and better. First season cgi is very bad but as u can see the animation gets such much better. HIGHLY recommend though this anime is not completed.
Season 3, the Coalition Invasion Arc, was peak Kingdom in my opinion. The 3 arcs in this opening are good to great, each one better than the last one in my opinion. I am curious if they are going to make Kokuyou part of season 4, because the arc after it will definitely take up a whole season on its own

I watch the entire first season no problem. Did not know people could not watch it because of the cgi. I did not learn until are start reading comments about. I did not know people were that sensitive to that.

I can't wait for Kingdom 2 the live action that will be released this summer. The first live action was great. Second one seems to be filled with a great cast too.
One thing I don’t get is why they use the Chinese names instead of the Japanese ones. Take 0:52, for instance - even though she clearly says “Kyou Kai”, they go with “Qiang Lei”.
Who cares about having 1,000,000 soldiers. Who cares about studying those wooden scrolls about Art of War. Who cares about infiltration, sabotage and espionage. Who cares about famine and epidemic. When you have generals with limitless stamina, strength, speed, and anti-arrow force field around them. Kingdom: Season 4! Battles - Decided by a brawny dude with years of experience going up against teenage boy / girl who just started fighting.
