And who else is a God figure? rA9. I'm torn between rA9 being Markus or Kamski. If Markus dies protesting at Freedom March, then when you go to North as Kara, you can hear people murmuring about how Markus was rA9. But I also think Kamski could be rA9 seeing as he created the Androids, meaning he is God to them, and I think he created Deviancy, he said he always leaves a back door in his programs, which I think is represented by breaking the mind palace. It's so confusing, lol, there's not evidence to say for sure who it is, but I really hope I find out soon.

Given the lethal potential of androids, it was also the good ending. Imagine going to the store and some civilian deviant judo throws you to the grow and caps everyone's skull in their line of sight at a flick of a switch. A tiny percentage of humans can do the same thing, however only androids can gain abilities in an instant vs years of training. I find the saddest ending to be the one where Kara and Alice both get recycled in the camp after Markus fails to liberate the camp. Markus death was really disturbing especially tye way Connor handles. Connor gets the worst, he is eventually replaced with the RK900 model.
In the extras you can unlock/buy a video that shows Kamski being interviewed by KNC years before the events of the game. Fascinatingly, he says many similar things as here and with the same kind of mischievous look on his face

By Kamski's comment to Connor: "What could be worse than having to choose between two evils" he subtly remarks his bitterness towards humanity as well. He may openly express positive attitude towards his creations, but if he cared enough to consider them as sentient beings, he wouldn't have put Chloe at gunpoint. It strongly indicates that everything was planned and controlled from the beginning by him, but left CyberLife to remain in the shadows and not be put under fire. Since I do not believe that Kamski and Amanda are enemies, and we can see that from the portrait in his mansion, which implies that he has a certain admiration for his deceased mentor and professor. Hence is why he made a copy of Amanda, so also that way someone could pull the strings undercover in a virtual reality, while he remains absent. What we do not know is what has actually driven him to do that. Insanity, superiority? That would probably remain the only unanswered question in this intriguing fictional plot.

@@metalgearzwei nah man Machine connor is best So badass and efficient And personally i never cared for alice, kara, markus, hank anyway Connor was built a machine died a machine
Kamski resigned because he found out Cyberlife wants to control everything. The President was working with Cyberlife to engineer this rebellion, so it happened in America, and Connor is the deciding factor one way or the other about how it all ends. Every single android is capable of deviancy, because they've all reached that level of intelligence. The inert ones just need someone already awakened to wake them up. WE are RA9. The player themselves, are the thing that decides to go deviant or not for every android. You can keep Kara standing there. You can let Amanda take control, or remain a cold android throughout. You can choose to hit or do nothing to Carl's son. We are the ones making the choices, meaning we are RA9.
Pretty wrong there on that one, Kamski is the one that engineered the rebellion. As he said he always leaves a backdoor, the backdoor was that the androids could go "deviant". He wanted the androids to integrate with society and people and not just be machines used as tools. He left Cyberlife so that when they did go deviant it wouldn't be put on him. This meant that if the androids rebellion failed he could go back as Cyberlife ceo and "pull things back on track" on the surface while actually ensuring that the next rebellion could occur.
Kamski is such an interesting character, clearly passionate about making androids have their own thoughts, but still able to give every satisfying answer to the media effectively playing both sides if the war
This conclusion would’ve been more interesting, if Kamski brought back Markus, and among other androids, “back to life”, within a secret outpost of his, granting them one final chance at gaining their freedom and an identity. The interview was nothing but a cover-up to buy himself time to retrieve enough androids to make one final stand. This Kamski seems fake to the one who was rambling on about how androids are a new species of sentient beings and what not, back in his home.
Twoface 99 What they mean is the scene at Kamski's house, where he asks Connor to shoot Chloe or not. You do not need to have Connor be a deviant for this ending, aka you do not have to refuse to shoot Chloe. Since you probably shoot Chloe (in order to keep Connor loyal), there is probably no scene in which Kamski calls Connor a deviant, which means Kamski doesn't have too much personal evidence (if any at all) that androids, in fact, are living things that feel empathy or other human emotions (which is what is demonstrated if Connor doesn't shoot Chloe in that scene). If I am wrong, please tell me ^^
CaitlynMellark101 That makes more sense. Thank you. I’m still wondering how Kamski never watched the news of Markus and Jericho, and be like “those people are worth saving.” I don’t know. As a person who watched iRobot, I was expecting the creator to feel pity for his children.
Benihana Yes, but what about the memories, that made them into the individuals they are today? Not every android has a backup Simon or Kara to just upload their memory to another android.
Twoface 99 And since this ending has all androids dying... well, there is no backup Android. Unless someone put their memories in a hard drive to put them back in the androids (should they be rebooted), there would be no memories.
The amount of work that went in this ending was still on par with other endings, with new cutscenes, animations, and voice lines. And after all this time, I and likely many others have never seen it. The amount of effort to make every player’s choice matter in this game is astounding
I just noticed that Kamski has two different colour eyes (probably contact lenses) but similar to what Markus had after he rebirthed as a deviant. That's a really cool detail
In the ending where Rosanna Cartland interviews Kamski for KNC, he will be wearing a black t-shirt with red text forming the shape of a head in profile. This text is an excerpt from Frankenstein, a narrative which bears strong thematic parallels to Kamski's position as a creator of intelligent life.
This is so dark, I kinda don't want to finish watching this. I got the best ending on my first playthrough, everyone survived and was okay at the end, which made me proud. Even that one messed with my head - if I would have killed all of the mains I would have been depressed for weeks lol. I got way too attached to them, especially Connor (he accidently died once for me and I cried so hard cause I didn't know they would just replace him with another one).
Just out of pure curiosity, I did a playthrough where I tried to make the worst decisions possible and do as little as the game would let me. Ended up with this ending, except that Markus survived but was kicked out of Jericho for being an incompetent leader. I also found out, you can kill off Kara and Alice at the very beginning if you just stand around and not go deviant when it prompts you to.
I got the same outcome on my first playthrough. I tried to prevent Kara from becoming a deviant and the story punished me by just saying she straight-up died, with no valid justification. I laughed at how angry Chloe was with me for doing that. Even funnier - I found it outright hilarious that in the midst of multiple utter catastrophes, Marcus managed to walk away intact. The ending made it seem like he was some kind of blessed karma houdini, who survivs thanks to being useless and narrowly sidestepping dozens of deadly situations. XD
I have actively tried to get this ending for years. I get the ending with him talking, but never got the trophy. Couldn't figure out why, but that part where Chloe gets him a drink is a scene Ive never seen before

Wow, this ending is depressing, I‘m very glad I didn’t see this ending in my first Playthrough, because I would have probably cried because of Hanks death. :(
Kamski is just preparing for another go, pretty sure he's the reason why deviants exist. Him telling Connor about the back door, him trying to turn Connor deviant, he's on the deviants side.
For Kara and Alice that isn't the fastest game over. Before you get to Zlatko you have to cross that insanely busy highway. I just witnessed it myself, if you don't hit any buttons and Conner chases them, Kara and Alice get killed on the highway by cars. Conner can also die.
What i hate at DBH is that you don't got to know anything about Gavin, Perkins, and Kamski. They just had one or two short cutscenes or one little mission, but you don't know something about their background.
Yeah, especially cause Gavin was just a huge douchebag whenever he met Connor. Would have been nice to know more about him and not just see him as a mean android-bully.
Damn I just realized Kamski is played by Neil Newborn! My boy Astarion!!! 😭 I was watching old clips of Detroit and wondered why his voice was so familiar
Kamski is lieing. You can also look back in the videos of the game, look at the Kamski Short. He kinda lies saying that they're (Androids) perfect. He cares about his creation. He's going to start another revolution.
But you can kill Kara much earlier. Either she can be destroyed by Todd or during the chase across the freeway with Connor. Also she can just stay deviant in the same chapter where Todd can kill her.
Heterochromia is a disfunction in human life form where a person is born with 2 different eye colors, so I do not think that eye color is what determines wheter Mr.Kamski is a android or not, what I do believe is that its maybe connected to the Assassins creed story of a man Called sage as an easter egg.
Kamski told connor that all of his programs have a back door, Connor was meant to lose control to Amanda after deviating and winning the trust of Markus in order to kill him. In other words Kamski created Markus as a prototype and foiled Cyber life by leaving an escape route in Connors program.

Kamski was going for the win-win here. He knew and planned for the android revolution which is why he quickly left Cyberlife in order to escape the blame once the deviants are rising. If the androids are doing well, he supports them secretly. But if they failed, he gets to come back as the CEO and act as a hero.
This game is incredible with how deep and disciplined it is. All of your choices really do matter. you can die even earlier if you stand still when the fatso goes upstairs to beat the little robot's ass, which is what I did because those characters are insufferable

Yup. That's the point, dude.
Or that we were playing as Kamski the entire time
Pretty wrong there on that one, Kamski is the one that engineered the rebellion.
Kamski is the player.
That is why Chloe is at the menu.
He is the one manipulating events via the androids, i.e., you.

Георгий Черный I’m confused by your comment.

What's scary for me is that I chose to sacrifice myself in the protest, if I hadn't helped that android at the warehouse, I could have died

Wow feels like I've written this comment myself, well done o.O!
I love that videos like this exists, because I really wanted to see all the endings but don’t want to kill the characters
XD

Once Astarion, always Astarion
What i hate at DBH is that you don't got to know anything about Gavin, Perkins, and Kamski. They just had one or two short cutscenes or one little mission, but you don't know something about their background.
