Heh... when Zee said, "... it can go to a racy place"... I was almost expecting him to say, "It can go to a racist place!" lmao Interesting that he avoided talking about how this game is famously joked about as being aka *Racism: The Game*. ;-)
Interesting. I have a game called "Unusual Suspects" that's a dice and card game published by Fundex Games in 2010. Totally different game than this, but it comes with its own built-in dice tower, so what's not to love about that.
Those questions seem very family friendly and boring. Or where we just unlucky with the card draws in the overview? The game doesn't have to go full CoH, but a bit more than does this person take the bus, would be nice.
classic apolitical response...game may be fun but just be honest w/ yourself, i have seen games as innocuous as worker placement types set in ancient egypt--or hell chess!--draw out the most banal and disappointing racism in people; to suggest that a game based on assumptions wouldn't ever possibly intersect with that on some level is just lazy. admit that you like it with your group of friends or that you are able to avoid that ugly place somehow, but as with cards against humanity & many other popular bgames set in "exotic" locales or about colonialism, it's just a built in part of the experience. you then decide if you are smart or cool enough to deal with that. denying it just puts you on a whole other level of unawareness. many peoples' tolerance level for such thing is high; you can't blame someone for not being into it, since, after all, art tends to reflect the society around it. which is racist as hell! anyway, i can see this game being enjoyable but absolutely see why it has that reputation. there are many games i choose to pass on--cop themed games, games glorifying colonialism--and i would entertain this briefly if it was around but definitely not interested. thx for review zee.
Would be funny to see The Dice Tower play it with caricatures of themselves as the suspects.

Reminds me of Guess Who. I guess the same questions could apply to that game too.
Anyone got any good/funny custom questions for the blank cards?

Not really family friendly when the object of the game encourages judging a book by it's cover.
Take it to a "racy" place? I think there might be another word for that. This game might as well be called "Racial Profiling: The Game." I'll pass.
