This looks like it would be great fun! They should have left out the hat and put a few more cards in the box instead. It definitely seems like it would be more fun playing with photos of real people - there's a lot more nuance in real faces that players can use to make their judgements.
+Actualol Nah, I think the cartoon charactitures is a better choice. It's like playing Flash Point Fire Rescue. Some people really don't want to choose a realistic person to save vs another, they have an easier time with cartoony people. Also, you can get wilder expressions.
+themaster408 Interesting that you mention realistic faces in Flashpoint - I would much prefer realistic faces in that game, and have been trying to get hold of the Kickstarter promo that includes them. Different strokes, I guess!
Played this today for the first time - 5 rounds in a row ^^ Love it. We developed background stories during the playes that kept coming back in later round :-D Can't wait to get this out again. Btw: we did not encounter any topics that were touchy. There are a lot of questions like "does he/she drink coffee" or "does he/she own a dog". Yes, stereotypes are heavily used here, but at least in my group neither racism, sexism or even agism where a real factor. At least not meanspirited ^^
A lot of reimagining of classic childrens game this year. Pursuit of Happiness looks like The Game of Life whereas this game here looks like Guess Who. Next up, someone better make a euro style Monopoly.
+Straddllw While it definitely does have the spirit of Guess Who, I would never introduce this game to kids as a replacement. Not only are some of those cards atrocious, but I don't want to teach them to judge people based on their appearance.
I am interested in this game, but NOBODY sells it!! Can someone from the DICE TOWER help me find a copy of this? I've seen others review this game too, but again nobody has a link or way to purchase. I know it comes from Cranio Games and was released this year (2015). If anyone has information on this game or how to purchase, please comment here so that I can get a copy of the game. Sorry, I don't get it. I'm not an overly politically correct person, but I see this going down dark/unpleasant areas every time. And for what? It's not like this is a great game with something new. You can get nearly the same thing from the kids game Guess Who. 27th Passenger, Mystery of the Abbey and Deception: Murder in HK have more "thinking" and none of the stereotyping. Maybe corporations and therapists can use this as an exercise to show how not to judge others...
lol Wow a game that teaches group "judging a book by its cover" yeah I could see this getting hurtful maybe. Prob not a game I would pull out first time at a new meet up I thinks. I could see it being alot of fun though (is he racist?...Yes he would not even go see avatar because he saw the product of their parenting watching their children in willy wonka the chocolate factory bully all them children.) or something to that effect. Otherwise it really just seems questionable at best but in the end if it weights the same as a duck we know its made of wood and their for a witch....right?. Thanks for the video
