Please feel free to give us 1- 1.5 hr podcasts, because this IS THE CONVERSATION OF OUR TIME! We have questions that need answers, things that need reconciling. I came here from the clock app, post more clips, you guys are onto something here
Maaan this is so similar to my story 🥹. I grew up in a Christian based family from both maternal and paternal but my maternal grandmother is a Sangoma and she went to Zion. My paternal grandmother had a gift of intuition and seeing but she is very Christian , my great grandmother from my paternal side was a prophet so they knew I have a spiritual gift, I’m currently embarking on my spiritual calling.I’ve been the favourite grandchild on both sides. My step dad is a pastor but a dirty one who also inflicted a lot of abuse on my mother and I . I appreciate bumping into this topic
What was spoken of here was so necessary and so relevant to our generations. There is hustle and bustle over African Traditional Spirituality and the Christian faith that is being spoken of quite often. People are searching for the truth, and it's good to hear this from people with the experience and background who now truly know the Lord. I'm looking forward to Part 2 ... 🙏🏾😁👏🏾
It's my first time watching this channel, and this conversation is absolute 🔥🔥I grew up in a Christian home all my life, so it's very interesting to hear other people's stories of their lives before Christ and how they got to have a personal relationship with Him. I can't wait for part 2!!!😁
Love how the story is told with such simplicity yet it’s deep and pregnant with meaning. Our heritage is so rich and powerful we have not even begun to scratch the surface 🙌🏾🫶🏾
Facebook brought me here. Saw 1min 32sec clip I think and I'm like am going to look for this episode and guess what am touched because I can relate to what she's saying. Not everything though but some of the topics. Please I love her so much😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ waiting for Part 2. Gonna subscribe and click that notification button because Wow haiboooo 🙌🔥
Omg I found friends in you. Ndilahlekile but hayi after finding this I feel like ndinabantu… I don’t know you guys but I’m inlove with this. Please note this name Pamela Hlwele and niyiqhube lento niyenzayo ningayeki plz. Will join whatever and whenever although I’m far living abroad ndcela unazi
Wonderful conversation. Just one complaint… the many interruptions while the guest answers the questions disrupts the flow and derails from important points being made. Otherwise a necessary topic ❤
I am honestly confused but maybe I'll get clarity on part 2. What is African spirituality? There's only good and bad in the spirit, God and devil. No western or African
i know uLindokuhle from Way of Life, great to see how she's grown from then. Shuu feel ssure real for Lindokuhle to retell the "Way of Life Church". I remember the conversations then yhoo i was lost 😂😂 im not laughing but ke im part of the group who saw it as blasphemous.
God is not Christian. God is not African. God is not Muslim. God is not Hindu. God is not Buddhist. God just is… If you find that the best journey for your relationship with God is Christianity then that’s perfectly fine.. it’s problematic when one thinks their personal journey is what’s best for the next person… it’s also problematic when it’s insinuated that our personal experience with set belief systems are the only experience of that set belief system Lovely conversation
When you make a definitive statement saying ‘God is not’ you have to clearly back it up. Because however you view God, is what you deem correct ? It looks like the same thing you are rightly critiquing is what you are doing, is that not problematic ? Thanks for watching and commenting 😃🙌🏾
Towards the end of part two video one of the hosts mentioned that when Christians “observe” African spirituality it can be divisive (correct me if I’m wrong) and that is my premise for not ascribing God to a particular belief system but rather to the individual’s experience of God I can’t say because I am personally Christian that African spirituality is wrong and is not real, and that Christianity is the truth and the answer to having a relationship with God… there are testimonies of people having a better relationship with God and finding peace through belief systems outside of Christianity and therefore I feel like the true problem lies in limiting God in Gods entirety to how we individually experience Gods love the best I hope I articulated myself better this time 🙏🏽
Thanks @UltraMel, you have articulated yourself very well. Thank you for that, also thanks for commenting so graciously. It’s people like you, that will allow all of us to continue to have these conversations, even when we don’t agree. Thank you for that 🙌🏾
I love this, beautiful conversation! However, I wish the interviewer (sitting at our right) would stop asking questions that sound like already knows the answer to. I get he wants to sound like he’s done his research, maybe structure the questions well ahead. Mean this in the purest way 🫶🏾
You have to watch Part 2 🙌🏾Here’s the link 👉🏾 th-cam.com/video/ojAnsgLOEtA/w-d-xo.html
