What a compliment :) I coded that stuff, was my first self-employed project actually. Finished it in July. Had much fun recording the cars and creating the characteristic sounds as well as the virtual engines (acutally i created an algorithm which precisely simulates the torque curve). Right now the motors which drive the gauges are too slow and get stuck sometime - i hope my partner will fix that soon. I am thinking about making some other use-cases out of the implementation.. maybe some kind of toy. Send me a mail, if you want a windows desktop version to play with!

Thanks for the background info. I really liked this "toy". Only the rpm-display was a bit too slow.
