Tyler’s problem is that he’s making these movies off of a first draft script. He also is in desperate need of collaboration with younger writers and directors. You’re a gen x man writing millennial female characters. Sir, having a mom doesn’t make you an expert on women. He needs more people on his team.

This was an excellent review. It definitely was more entertaining than the movie!!! I loved how detailed you were. And poor Tyler Perry just seems lazy to me. He now has this copy and paste writing mentality. Everything he does has some resemblance of something else he has done. Like in Mea Culpa Kai was a mama’s boy and in Divorce in the Black Dallas was a mama’s boy and both Kai and Dallas’s family interfered in their son’s marriages. Anyone that watches Sistas can see a resemblance to the writing of Tyler Perry’s movies. Like someone taking a picture of Ava with the new guy and on Sistas somebody took a picture of Fatima when she met her ex. Both pictures were shown to the significant other invoke jealousy. The letter of things that he did wrong was similar to the letters that Karen was told to write herself which contained a lot of negativity about Zac. And yes that was the budget brand Monique portraying Dallas’s mother. Tyler Perry knows nothing but to dig deep into the depths of the ugliness of living while black to reinforce what those of other persuasion already believe are true about black men and women. Tyler Perry just co-signs their beliefs
You did well with the video. This movie is a Rollercoaster of madness that TP made and it was confusing. I got done with editing my upcoming video for Thursday about Divorce In The Black and I'm wondering if my video is going to be good because when I was shooting the video and editing it, I wasn't feeling it like I was with the other movies that I talked about previously so will see what happens. 😊

It’s the security of having that relationship and being with the devil you know and at the end of it, you’re most likely grieving the person that your partner once was. Most times, the beginnings are amazing and then they change. It’s unfortunate for sure but it happens. A lot of the time it’s only after the healing process is when you realise what the relationship actually was. It’s a psychological thing
You really didn't like this movie because they spoke on the title in one scene and the family knew Benji since they were children. He wasn't a stranger.
