    Very good explanation!!!…Thank you very much!…Tried to read a couple0f books-did not get a clear picture!…Even ”College Physics” by Knight,Jones, Field didn’t help this time…(Usually it gives me a good idea about the topic)…I am nearly retired age mom of a young university student and I have never studied physics in University (English is my second language)….However your lessons have been helping me a lot during this year…Thanks again!…🙏🇺🇦🇨🇦

    9:33 why did we change the formula from being F=uoi1i2L/2 pi r
    To F/L = .......
    Is it because we didnt have the Value of L ? Is this what we do when we dont have L ?
    Like if we had the L the the formula wolud have been the same right ? Like
    F=uoi1i2L/2pi R
    I need some clarification

    Hi, PhysicsNinja, must one specify how long is wire #1? Infinite length and parallel to #2?

      The formula gives the force per unit length. It assumes wires are long but to get the total force on a finite segment just multiply by it’s length.

    How do the magnetic forces at place in space influence satellites? Is the magnetic field created from the Sun used in calculating how it affects Earth orbiting satellites?

      I thought there values would be minute as the distance (radius are so large) and so the force would be tiny. Gravity is also effected by this but the mass of the planet is significantly less reduced by distance. I think sorry badly explained
