Amazing how consistent Hugh has been throughout all the series.
Yeah consistently unfunny..!!
@@paulpurves484 he's literally the funniest person on the show you sausage.
@@thomascorrie-mt5ps not for me I’m afraid.!!
@@paulpurves484he’s hilarious what are you on?
@@leiladaw3591 nope.
Hugh's "Go on lie... you got away with it last time" impersonating Tony Blair is perfect and immensely accurate
WELCOME, TO OPERATION MINDFUCK
still one of the best lines ever 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, and I'd watch that movie.
Before the comedic randomness factor got completely overused by the internet and tv in the early 2010s. If someone tried making a joke like this today it would so cringe and just not funny at all, but being an original makes it work
Milton has such cerebral jokes. I love him
He really uses his head.
Cerebral for a 12yr old maybe. Relying on wacky shirts and greasy, unkempt hair says it all.
'So he switched to a media studies course, which was a piece of piss'.
🤣🤣
That's so funny. They should have used that one in the video.
Ed's "a stones throw away" joke is truly top notch material
Who is he? Sorry american but that joke was rop notch
@@SoulPoleSuperstar Ed Gamble :)
@@gandalfthegreyonlineEd Byrne
I would camp out overnight to get a seat to the premiere screening of Operation: Mindfuck.
Favourite deleted scene during SWLTS was Dara passing-on a message from the producers:
"Frankie and Hugh, quick editorial note, if you could do some bits we can ACTUALLY broadcast?"
That bit was in the "lookback v1" show that aired last week, too.
Remember when the others provoked Frankie by "opening the racist door" ? :)
And then Frankie would just PILE it on after that :)
@@barath4545 green light for chaos
Al Murray doing a spot on Dalek impression without a ring modulator is such fucking chad energy, mans nearly put Nick Briggs out of a job
I will miss this show so damn much!! 😭
Will you though
how Dave hasn't saved this show yet is beyond me
yeah i cant imagine that the ratings were low, it's an absolute riot! maybe one of the online platforms can pick it up?
Dave mainly show reruns. Im sure they will keep showing the programs for years to come just like Top Gear.
Holly Walsh was on point with the Richard Dawkins one. Gina Yashire's Mohamed Bond one was good too.
I don't know if it where broadcast but Hugh's 'These Korean meatballs are the dog's bollocks' is the best one for me, closely followed by Frankie's 'Queens haunted message'
It was, joyfully, it was _and_ in the repeats too. Dunno how in these prissy days.
14:00 that is the best Dalek impression I’ve ever heard.
Without audio device help yeah pretty good, Hugh's Emperor would work for Davros too.
22:57 Ed Gamble wins this one! Honorable mention to Ivo for Swallows and Amazons, and University Challenge 😆
I'd pay good money to see a film of Frankie Boyle's "Operation Mind-Fuck".
I am saddened, but thankful for this.
Frankie Boyle is irreverent gold. Well, the most irreverent. The entire show was gold.
He is an arse who hates the monarchy without any reason. He says what uneducated SNP voters want to hear from him.
0:21 "Why are we speaking English?" (With comedy German accent) ... Those who criticised 'Allo, 'Allo were missing the joke - the writers were not poking fun at the Resistance, or even the French as a whole, the show was a mickey take of shows like Secret Army, where foreigners simply spoke English with their "national" accents....
11:36 Al Murray's "GUTEN ABEND!" had me in hysterics the first time I heard it!
Oh, _that’s_ what he said. Thank you.
@@kylestubbs8867 Don't know where you are from, but if not the UK, Al Murray is a UK comedian, best known for his character, The Pub Landlord, a VERY jingoistic English bar owner, who believes that the English are best at everything, invented everything, etc....
@@richardcochrane1966 also when out of character is an extremely knowledgeable and intelligent writer of history books (his podcast is brilliant).
I wish Al Murray had been on the show more often
I love Al Murray..... especially his name😋😂
'Doctor for Mrs. FuckOff!' is still my favourite.
bit of a temporal loop there at the end. ...
11:24~
That is the opening statement of EVERY religious gathering.
the science documentary one with miles jupp and romesh where they all bully Dara is goated
Who the Eff says Goated, Weirdo
@@ytisfulloffreaks4189 Damn, how'd you get out of the care home?
@@ginge641 If the care home is in Wales or Scotland there is a very different meaning to the word goated...
One of the best editions!
Best show ever made, crying here
13:27 This was the moment I heard of John Oliver. Who knew he would go on to do what he has done with Last Week Tonight?
I never heard of him back then. Great.
Wild isn't it. He is the most successful of them all.
''I'm here at the Pamplona bull run, FUCKING HELL.''
My sides went into orbit.
12:47 Had me in stiches
15:12 and 27:24
Bloody repeats!
Also, should have included Rob’s “‘Ere, you’ll never guess who’s died!” Line.
Frankie is obsessed with HIV, Hugh is obsessed with Chlamydia and Rory is obsessed with OCD (what else).
And Dara is, of course, obsessed with Brian Cox. Angela is also obsessed with jokes about cox (I might have misspelled it this time). ;-)
@crazyintrovertt-girl67no he's obsessed with saving money on car insurance 😂
1:39 "Operation Mindfuck!" 😂😂
Hugh is the one.
Unlikely lines from the BBC planning department.
"We have a much loved, highly successful comedy gem in Mock The Week. We must make sure we don't do anything stupid like cancel it for a nonsensical reason."
Oops.
Absolutely brilliant
Make a compilation of Hugh starting each joke with "Well...".
11:58 holy moly Hugh has a fantastic singing voice! where has that been!
one of my favorite tv shows, nothing like it in america.
Now check out our football chants. Pas devant les enfants!
This is from the same people that did Whose Line is it Anyway in the US for well over a decade, the only real difference is MtW has more current events and political BS.
is it really the best, if it doesn't have Frankie's xmas message from the queen?
Some segments are repeated but still enjoyed them some 10 minutes appart 😊
Hilarious as usual, the last subject was done twice.
"Mrs. Jones, I'm going to need you to push...and then when we've got the Ambulance started, we'll try and get you to the hospital." :))) (Andy Parsons)
operation mindfuck sounds better than most fast and furious movies nower days
The adverts are more interesting than fast and furious
"Okay, big breath..."
As a westerner I totally hear "hey big breasts!" 10:29
I'm so glad Russell got to do more solo work!
Bring back MOCK the WEEK
*”FUCK* em!!” 8:04 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Watching back these old clips, I'm surprised how much Andy Parsons has grown on me
16:38 hehe good one Hugh
Very good, consistent video.
My Mam passed away 10 weeks ago. Mam used to like MTW. Especially Dara O'Briain. And Ed Byrne. Probably the Irish connection. And the show is ending.
sorry for your loss
@@JSG2005 Thank you
Sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.

Am I the only one who would watch a movie of operation mindfuck?
Has "Wanking with Dinosaurs" ever been produced? Asking for a friend.
05:35. 😂😂😂😂😂
I can relate to that as I hate Sunderland. 😂
Frankie was the Goat of Mock the week guest panelists.
He was a regular, then left because they didn't let him say the really nasty crap he wanted to.
10:10 - Ohhhhh!
Unlikely thing to hear on a news program:
"It seems nothing's happened today.".
I've seen Daniel Day Lewis in War Films.... He's bloody brilliant as Hawkeye and as Butcher Bill.
It was Jeremy Renner who played Hawkeye, not Daniel Day Lewis.
@@theblackwidower No, Renner was using a bow and arrow, dead giveaway he was one of the Indians.
MC squared joke is great
13:58 I don't get U.K. politics and my interest in Doctor Who is wibbly-wobbly at best. But this gets me every time and I don't know why.
Hugh stopped doing his hilarious Shawaddywaddy joke after a while...I cant think why...
I think that everybody was hoping to see Frankie in the last episode and no show.
He did make a joke about MTW ending on his own show.
@@Targemq8 Got to check it.
They invited him, he didn't or couldn't come (according to Dara's twitter)
@@CharlesAzzopardi Pity. It would have been an interesting show. Frankie, Hugh, Russel, Andy.
I wasn't
Bit of deja Vu at the end.
10:49 That'll trigger someone nowadays. Maybe it did then? Lol
27:23 Just repeats
I would totally go see Wanking With Dinosaurs.
Especially the T Rex
A Ford Focus would have been an upgrade to the Mondeo he had in Casino Royale
I'm still waiting for Ivana Sukyurkokov in a Bond movie...
Frankie: "GAY-watch!!" 20:19 😅😅😅 Oh *BUMMER* that is absolutely *NUTS* i must say!🤭
"Fingers on buzzards, please."
John Oliver! so young here!

Isn't the science round with the 'cold air balloon' in there twice, or am I having a stroke?
15:54 to 16:00
Dave should have picked this up
"women can't be Ghostbusters, send" as it turns out, that statement is one hundred percent correct.
I disagree, they can be... but it can't be good, I call it GhostBusty.
I'm still waiting for a reboot of "The Color Purple" with Mel Gibson and Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Oprah and Whoopi roles.
Young John Oliver was a wrongun xD
Operation mind fuck would be a great cartoon
pretty sure daniel craig drives a ford focus in casino royale
🤣🤣🤣💕💕
Grateful for the inclusion of the early stuff. Thank you.
They're all so young and the comedy's all so much funnier. What a time to be alive!!!
22:10 the best, simplest response to anyone offended by comedy
So I can make a bunch of jokes to the family of a murder victim about the murder but since you didn't do it it's ok? Not everything can be comedic or non offensive.
@@user-ek7yc5zm1v The target of the joke was the perpetrator so your argument is a strawman.
If i never saw this i would have never known the filth that comes out of Hugh's mouth. Its great 😂
I didn't think I would see John Oliver on mtw
My god, look at Jon Oliver!
Why exclude James Acaster?
because he's not even funny by accident
Whoops, they did the same Unlikely Lines From A Science Program compilation twice! Was that one that good?
Shame the show finished but at least we don't have to put up with the "BriNg bAcK FraNKiE" crowd anymore.
What was wrong with Frankie Boyle?
Whatever happened with him, why did he leave?
@@Irisishunter the BBC wanted to tone him down. And political correctness started to seep in. Frankie walked away.
Not quite finished. Part 1 of the final 2 was on the other night.
@@Irisishunter he’s said himself that they were about to kick him off the show so he left before they could.

18:25 you know what? She wouldn't be too far off.. go middle-east or Asian if you want your agent to be able to fit in literally anywhere.
Missing you all...Especially Milton Keynes....I mean Jones
11:14 Dara seems to be very impatient with the buzzer in this round. It seems like a lot of them hadn’t finished telling their joke.
14:25 Can someone explain?
She has a large letterbox shaped mouth.
As an American, I thoroughly enjoy this panel show. Though the new cast isn’t as impressive as the days gone by, I just can’t understand why the show is coming to an end. Perhaps there’s a ratings slump?
In the US, a show like this would be comedy gold; our home news is outrageous enough to be made even more outrageous. Our three branches of government need a good sway in the breeze, as it were. Why not just continue the show here?
Mock the Week needs to be on American television. Keep the show alive!!! 😂
It’s because they stopped getting the best available for the teams and went woke. Also they would only make jokes about one side in the end. People are sick of that shit.
@@TheRedPeril Is this why in the later seasons they have the angry ladies on there not doing comedy, but rather complaining there should just BE more women on the show?
@@TheRedPeril they didn't "go woke" you're just overreacting to nothing

I watched the 2 part tribute shows on BBC in the last week. The first half of the first programme was good. That was it. In the second programme it was mostly when they were sitting down, mostly not funny. The best part was always when they were standing up, short & sweet humour. Bad BBC tribute.
Not shaving Ryan’s privates Amin privets😂😂😂
Miss Sukmeov
Love watching these, always have to skip the women speaking tho
No one beats James Acaster for Scenes We'd Like to See.
James Gaycaster sucks
"Your father was a thief" - one of the best lines ever.
Mock the week,,a show that has funny guests,,and Gina yashere,
I dare Frankie Boyle to say that line of France keeps on fighting to a French Legionaire or para in his face.
He would, but they’ve already surrendered.
@@SPQSpartacus 1 word: Camarón

First battle of the Marne. Verdun. Three days batle Leipzig. Borodino. Jenna. Eylau. Austerlitz. Chessapeak bay. The list goes on.
I'm not a Francophile by a longshot, but that image of the French being cowardly surrender monkeys doesn't hold up to a closer scrutiny of their military history.
for instance that famour battle at the Somme? It still had about 200000 french casualties besides the British.
