and the culvert was allowed to flow freely.

My personal opinion is I like when there's just one angle. I like to drag my finger on the bottom back and forth and watch the water go up and down, up and down, up and down. The angle switching does not allow for that. I will still love your videos no matter what tho, they're very calming to me. Thank you!

Your are a nice person the beavers must like you alot since you just pile up everything close so they can use it again in a couple off days.
Apparently they don't re-use old wood.
I live in an area with beavers. Beavers hate 2 things the most: the sound of running water and reusing wood. For some reason, they prefer fresh wood. They will reuse wood only if they cannot use fresh wood. Reusing is last thing they do.
I think the beavers have just given up now. They make your dams collapse for you with the removal of a couple of branches. Did you convince them you have big ride tomorrow so you sort of need to take it easy today?

What happens to the piles of sticks you dig out? Do they get taken away by people or other animals? Do they just sit there until they decompose? I've always wondered.

Is your Bike ride a competition event ,or just a fun thing for you to do ,what make and model bike do you have ,does your wife follow you in a chase vehicle ? from the amount of mud in that Dam it's been there for quite some time
Did you get a contract with any government for removing dam? I see that you are "reading" the water letting it show where the best place to work on. Don't let what you pull out of the dam build up in front of the dam. Do you have any video from your bike journey?
I AM SURE YOU REALIZE THE DANGER YOU ARE IN IF THE DAM SUDDENLY BURSTS AND YOU GET PINNED AGAINST THE TREES DOWN STEAM RIGHT !!!! THERE IS A BETTER WAY TO DO THIS......SAFER !!
