Heat vision is not a big deal. Hancock would walk trough it. Entering earth atmosphere must generate as much heat as homelander heat vision.

The lightning hit from hancock and marys fight would probably be hotter than any display of his heat vision anyway. As the air around lightning can reach temperatures of 50000 degrees(hotter than the sun). The only difference is the duration of the heat vision.
Homelander would be infuriated that there's another being like him that'd actually kick his ass.

When you take the moon vandalism feat and the storm generation into account, Hancock is easily sub relative, and around continental since him and Mary were weakened in their fight, those storms would easily get bigger if you put homelander in Mary’s place, then remember in the comics last time homelander tried to throw hands with someone in his weight class? He got murdered

Because people tend to forget that homelander even if he hasn’t fought anyone in his weight class he is still SUPER SUPER powerful bc even if he is his own character he technically is still basically Superman who hasn’t fought anyone close to his power. That’s why Hancock would still win but high diff (as in he wouldn’t come out without a scratch)
Homelander is probably the weakest of all the Superman knockoffs and I think that was done intentionally.

I was having some geek talk with my nephew, and this face-off came up I took Hancock and with Justins love of the boys he took Homelander. I told him Hancocks only weakness (yes only weakness) in his universe is Mary who's just as strong (she claims stronger) and knows what they're full power set is. Another thing she dropped when they were talking is Hancocks roll "keep one alive to protect the world that's you" so Hancocks been doing this earth protection role for 3000+ years and he's still here that says a lot. so lets look at this from the view of Mary being the way to take down Hancock. she's on the West Coast Handcock's in New York so your plan is to go capture his wife and ether take her to NY or hope Hancock comes to LA. sorry but I'm not sure Homelander's getting past Mary in this fight. Oh and the idea of giving him compound V.... so your gonna give the most powerful guy on the planet and compound that has the potential to make him stronger.... okay good luck with that.

I would say Hancock is much stronger in strength. And he fly's even faster and his more endurable and he regenerates faster and he can control the weather so yes Hancock would give homelander a beating of his lifetime.

Hancock was an asshole, but he has some morality. Homelander is just evil (a jerk is putting it lightly).

Hancock is invincible as long as he doesn't come near his wife but this weakness has a loophole.
I think it's all about emotions. If Hancock no longer has this lovely bond with his wife then even when his near her he won't lose his power or get weaker. In the movie, he was invulnerable until he found she was his wife and he was disappointed she left him. So the key weakness isn't his ex wife but what he feels for her.

Remember in the show Stillwell told Billy Butcher that Homelander proved impervious to anything they could throw at him.
I believe this includes at least low yield Tactical Nukes the way she said it in the series.
Hancock is way more powerful and way more durable with centuries of combat skill.this is why Homelander loses.

Hancock would win by far. He is immortal as long as he stays away from his wife which he now remembers to stay away from her. He is the better fighter and the laser eyes won’t work on him. Homelander is more sadistic and crazy, but Hancock is more brutal IMO and would have no problem dispatching Homelander especially if Hancock would see how messed up Homelander is. Hancock’s wife could kill Homelander too.

Hancock stat stomps pretty consistently and the whole 'Heart on the Moon feat' is just one big final death kneel no matter how you calculate it. He's stronger, faster, more durable, and his attacks hit harder and the only weakness he has is something Homelander wouldn't be able to exploit even if he knew. His feats are consistently greater and more impressive, therefore he claps.

Just a couple of notes here...
Hancock had no idea how he was controlling the weather. So unless we are dealing with Hancock in his prime with his full memories, I'd have to take one point off.
Hancock doesn't remember how to fight, and those memories were lost with his head injury. As Wolverine learned, the brain matter can regenerate, but the memories once stored there do not come back.
Hancock flew to the moon, but he could have held his breath the whole time. For all we know he still has to breathe.
Hancock does not have super immunity because he can get drunk. Alcohol is a poison. The drunk sensation is your body failing to clear out the poison quickly. If Hancock can get drunk then Hancock can be poisoned.
Hancock had to withstand re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. Re-entry generates about 3,000 degrees F. The most powerful laser on Earth puts out about 3 million degrees F. I don't know how hot Homelander's heat vision is but I'll bet it's closer to laser hot than re-entry hot.
However...
Homelander could NOT lift a plane while in the air, meaning, in flight he has no leverage. This is a huge weakness.
Homelander's heat vision barely hurt Stormfront. So, if Hancock is as invulnerable as she is, heat vision isn't a problem.
I give the victory to... HANCOCK!
Homelander has never really faced a foe equal or superior to himself before (in the show not the comic books.) I think he would fold and cry like the coward he is.
Hancock, even with the memory loss, is still capable of adapting to enemies more powerful than himself. He did this in the movie when he was losing power and still fighting the criminals at the end.
Homelander has no leverage. Hancock didn't move when a train hit him, but Stormfront was able to throw Homelander across the room during their sex scene.
Hancock is the clear victor here.

Homelander couldn’t lift the plane because it’s unrealistic to do that, it goes by the real laws of physics. Homelander is if superheroes existed in our real world.
Though I still think there are ways to stop a plane and or save the people on the plane even with real world physics.
Also Superman can stop plane a certain way, but I just forgot the technical reasons.
@@paladinheadquarters7776 Superman flies by means of gravions, the theoretically particles which transmit gravity. Using this, Superman can lift large objects without the object falling apart. If Superman lifted the Eiffel Tower, carrying it by just one end, the tower wouldn't tear apart because of this graviton effect. This is also why Superman can hover in mid air or change direction on a dime or catch falling objects without damaging them.
Hancock still wins either way
Hancock is an underrated masterpiece superhero movie glad to see people mention it after all those years 😀 but entirely even homelander is strong but he still not entirely strong like the Hancock because Hancock just by flying it could create a typhoon that could destroy entire building not to mention without he doesn't have any bound with his ex wife he entirely has no weakness at all (except from the inside his heart)

Right when Hancock gets a talk back to him he uses hes words instead of killing them right on the spot when homelander get talk back to and prove wonrg, he instantly kills them with a second thought unless hes in front of a bunch of cameras
Gotta give it up to me not Hancock. Especially after he learns more about his powers and isn't brought down by having his partner near him. Both of them are basically invulnerable, but I think Hancock has the slight edge.

Also we forget I think Hancock and Mary may have some kind of magical/spiritual connection since Mary explained they were created in pairs and were called Angels before so I go with Hancock for the win and.... Hancock was depressed and alone and never fully uses his full capabilities

Because Homelander's Power is Physical, while Superman's actually stems from a kind of "tactile kinesis" -- Meaning he generates an energy field around anything he touches that allows him to manipulate its atomic bonds, mass, and inertia... This is why Superman can catch someone after they fall hundreds of feet and their internal organs don't turn to mush... It also requires focus and concentration, which is why he can stop an oncoming locomotive by just standing still but can get knocked off his feet when struck unexpectedly by a steel girder that has a hundredth the mass. Even without this energy field, Supes is strong enough to withstand bullets and bend steel bars, but with it he can survive supernova and move PLANETS...

If we are going to setup a fight between this two just based on what we know from the info given my vote is for Hancock. Let’s set the scene: Hancock may be a little emotional after finally realizing who he is and finding out Mary is his mate he can’t be with and may be depressed and drinking again and still not fully embracing the hero idea. Homelander of course, always over confident and arrogant won’t recognize him as being anything more than a drunk and will definitely be surprised that a random guy is not respecting or really paying him any attention or showing any fear which will make him curious 🤨 he always defaults to hearing heartbeats to check for a lie and fear and will be surprised that Hancock isn’t feeling either and as per usual will result to laser vision but be very much surprised when Hancock either A)isn’t fazed or B)gets hit full blast and immediately begins to heal. I would see Homelander probably using some dirty trick like killing civilians as a distraction because mentally he can’t handle not being number 1 and never having an equal who is as strong as he is. This will only enrage Hancock and really take the fight up a notch... long story short.... Hancock for the win

This is irrelevent because it's a deleted scene but originally in the boys season 2 ending scene homelander was supposed to be shown in space looking down at earth so that does imply he can survive the vaccume of space like hancock.

Hancock can't rumble with the little pinky of those characters. Superman can move planets, can bench press the planet for DAYS, is countless times faster then the speed of light (can fly across the universe to the source wall).
Hancock can what? Throw a whale? Superman would toy with both people from this battle, like 1 shoot their heads off assuming he is bloodlusted. They just don't have feats to put them anywhere close to Superman's level. Superman is capable of shattering planets with punches and is so fast that both of these characters would be statues to him.
Doomsday, depending on the incarnation can fight the entire league.
Hulk is the weakest of the 3 but Hulk would still dominate him, he would just need to get pissed enough.

They are evenly matched -- During their fight, he did not know what her capabilities were and was not going at her full bore... She also went at him harder than normal because she knew his capabilities and was trying to establish dominance. In terms of Superman Allegories Hancock is more like Omni-Man than Homelander so that would’ve be a better comparison, but Hancock would most likely stomp Homelander and be stomped by Omni-Man.

Hancock, I feel, not only has more feats, but also BETTER feats overall in terms of strength, speed, and durability. He really only has the one weakness being his wife, which slowly turns him human over a week or so, which is difficult to produce, considering his wife is just as strong as him. Homelander, as far as the show goes, hasn't been shown to have been hurt, I don't think. But don't forget, in the comics, Homelander WAS killed. He DID die in battle. So I think Hancock would definitely stomp Homelander. Plus it would be entertaining to see Hancock talk mad shit and have Homelander be heat af but have no idea what to do.

Dude, you were wrong about a few things. 1. The whale in Hancock was a humpback whale, less than half the size and weight of the blue whale. 2. Homelander doesn't have more powers than Superman. i.e. Homelander can't lift a plane while he is flying. Homeland is a chump.

It's not about lifting strength. I think Homelander would be able to life that much weight. Superman has something called Tactile Kinesis. Meaning he can move objects like a plane without it falling apart. Homelander doesn't have that power. That is why he said if he tries the plane will break. That is also how Superman can lift a building from one corner and not have it collapse in on itself.

Given this is after the movie, if Homelander goes after Mary and she knows he's fucking with Hancock, she's going to crush him!
I imagine the two of them flying and homelander punchs Hancock and when he sees it did nothing to him at all he would heat vision him and Hancock would just slowly walk through it and at this point homelander gets scared trys to fly away then Hancock rushes him lands a punch on the side of homelander face and lights out for him
Amnesia regardless muscle memory kicks in with a fight. I'd bet on 3000 v/s 35 any day. Hancock was born Immortal, Homelander was made, and though INVULNERABLE he is still mortal. He will die in 65 years and Hancock would still alive and hopefully not drinking ass.

i see this pretty old, but we've seen a fully powered Homelander Bleed, and we've seen a partially de-powered Hancock not have a scratch fighting someone who was just as strong or stronger than him.
