Goed gebaar ja, maar toen dertijd hadden de republiekeinen de meerderheid, en meerendeel van hun zijn niet aanwezig. Dat zegt een hoop over hoe messed up de politieke landscape is in Amerika momenteel. Het gaat alleen maar om image, en niet geschiedenis.

I can’t verify the proportionality of 3,600 Americans mentioned here. But what I can confirm from personal experience is that literally every Dutch person was only 1 step away from someone who lost their life on that flight. Every single person in the nation lost someone that was known to them.
