- Exploring Dubai's world famous Gold Souk. I was shocked by how much gold was on display. Everyone was very friendly, but some small shopkeepers were quite aggressive in trying to get customers into their stores. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience, and I look forward to visiting again!

who are the amazing artisans who create those full breast pieces with so much detail? or the fine chain hijab of gold? you don't see that kind of work anywhere in the west. perhaps it's because of cultural/fashion-style differences. but are there artisans in the west capable of that level of work to produce that volume of jewelry?
It’s a traditional designs from all arabic countries nd sometimes from India nd iran. The UAE has its own traditional designs called Al Tasah, AL MORTA’SHA, AL SATAMI nd Moryiah. Other designs r important from its original country. There is the Bahraini style, Saudi Kuwaiti ect.
Till a few months ago Dubai was off-limits to the Jews and anything with a hint of Israel on it was stubbed out automatically
