    The ghost of King Hamlet laments the fact he was sent to his death with all his sins on his soul. That would have been poetic justice for Hamlet Jr. to kill Claudius when he was involved in some sinful activity or else. Claudius didn't consciously (maybe) kill King Hamlet with the intention of sending him to hell, but he killed him whilst bereft of Last Rites and Confession.

    I think that this gentleman is projecting his own Catholic 'spiritual' notions on to Shakespeare. The latter was a working actor and dramatist and he worked and wrote for money and to become a man of property. He clearly wasn't writing for posterity or with a higher purpose in mind as he didn't preserve his own work. Had it not been for another later dramatist searching out and collecting his opus then Shakespeare's works would have been lost to history.
