The warm-hearted approach to this video and the invitation to be creative and play around is reminiscent of Bob Ross and immediately elevated my mood ❤️
Loved your video. Let me compliment you on the 3D animation. Your hand is always visible to make this project easy for beginners like me. Wonderful tutorial. TY
I watched every tutorial on TH-cam and I had the hardest time to get it to work. I'm so glad your tutorial was the last one I was going to dry and OMG you made it so simple and it happened, it looks amazing. No step up which messed it all up. Thank you for sharing 🎉🎉
It is beautiful and much easier as I thought 😅. I will give it a try thanks for the inspiration 👍. Just two tips - if I don't need size 15 seed beads I am using my thread double from the beginning so I never need to reinforce 😜. If you love Bling Bling and shiny jewelry like I do I am not using 8/0 seed beads I am using 2 mm metallic rondells with AB shine and for the 11/0 seed beeds I am using Toho higher metallic Dragon fly or another colour from the Higher metallic line. I prefer Toho seed beeds cause their hole is bigger as Myiuki, Preciosa beads etc. Thank you for sharing and stay all healthy and save. Love and hugs from Germany, Daniela 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you for showing me I watch other videos and I could not get it but you showed to do this with two size bead now I doing it .I was getting upset with my self but I came across your video and it showed a picture were I go in the beads thank you for your video
Thank you so much!!! Love your detailed demo. I have been struggling to do this. Chanced up on your video and love it so much. Have subscribed to your page to follow more of your tips. ❤❤❤
Wow, that's simple enough even I could do it, LOL. Question: does bead A need to be bigger than bead B, or did you just choose that for an interesting design element? Either way, that looks like fun, thank you!
I’ve seen others do a step up when using 3 different color 4mm bicones & two 11/0, is this not necessary? I’m doing like you showed and it seems fine this way.
It would depend on what you are making with the stitch as well as what size beads you use. To keep it manageable on a smaller project, you probably wouldn't want to use much more than 3-4 feet of thread. It's always great to practice with different lengths and you can always add thread to the project if needed. As you practice, you will start to get a better idea of how much thread you will need for a specific length of the finished product. For example, if you use one foot of thread and it is enough to make two inches of the finished design, then you would be able to assume that for every two inches of finished design, you would need another foot of thread. Hope that helps!
@@FireMountainGems I only use 2 kind of beads, size 9 and 10. I also want to avoid a clasp by connecting the ends to eachother. I haven't seen a tutorial on that anywhere but I hope I'll figure it out! 😀

Nope. The beads can be the same size or one larger than the other.
Excellent!!!

Does it need at least 2 different sizes beads? Or would it work with all 11 in 3 different colours?
Nice, beautiful! Amazing! Are you doing beads to order?

I’ve seen others do a step up when using 3 different color 4mm bicones & two 11/0, is this not necessary? I’m doing like you showed and it seems fine this way.
Thank you for watching. This actually has the “step up” built into the stitch. It just automatically happens after each row.
What would be the recommended total length of thread?
Hi Tiffany. Start with 3 feet of thread.
Does this stitch still work if all the beads are the same size?
It sure does! 😀
Fne I learn it
❤
Not sure how long the thread is supposed to be?
It would depend on what you are making with the stitch as well as what size beads you use. To keep it manageable on a smaller project, you probably wouldn't want to use much more than 3-4 feet of thread. It's always great to practice with different lengths and you can always add thread to the project if needed.
