    I absolutely love Jadakiss’ catalogue. Crazy how hip hop evolves, yet it’s so young. As a 25 year old, I grew to love hip hop from my dad. One story my dad always tells me is when he used to bounce in the clubs. He ended up being a body guard for jadakiss for a night back in the day. It’s a beautiful thing when connections like that are made, you just never know what’s gonna happen in this world.

    The most motivating thing about this is how having a dad to raise him right paid off. Jada is well off and probably takes good care of his parents. People don’t understand your kids are in investment and when you invest in them it pays off when they get older and will gladly give back to you 🥰😍 this is a beautiful episode

    As a single father full time dad this made me smile, let me know that me being a guy who rather take care home first and make sure they have a great life. I’m doing ok, hope I would be able to sit with my sons and daughter kids and just talk.

      Mentality and perspective become big factors and aren't necessarily shaped by A Mom or Dad you live with. Certain choices and paths change your trajectory physically and mentally to a point that some 25+ years later you never realized the exact point you began to skew from your potential. It take so much more to be strong and stand up despite outside influences in youth, staying true to yourself and your own vision rather coopting or following others for mistaken admiration of what basically amounts to bullshit and foolishness as a Man.     Joe's podcast is one of the best out there. Hope he can continue getting all these legends of hip hop and R&B on the show in the future. I'm 33 and feel so old seeing all these old school rappers nearing middle age 😅
