    ***UPDATE*** I did not account for the pantheon attack bonus (@14.75%) in my calculations. As a result the boss' defense in Aegis Mode/Phase 2 is more likely ~19,000-20,000 rather than the~17,000-18,000 that I proposed in this video.
    Despite this the attack levels I recommend in the video are still accurate as far as what you should expect to see when you look at your hero's stats in the character screen. Pantheon bonuses are not reflected in the character attributes screen.
    Unless your pantheon bonus varies significantly from the 14.75% pantheon attack bonus I had active in this video you should feel confident in the numbers stated in the spreadsheet and video. If your pantheon bonus is significantly higher or lower than 14.75% attack then you may need to account for that, however the trend of stacking attack leading to higher damage in aegis mode remains regardless.

    Subbed! We need more content like this. More detailed testing with data to back up. Can you do a rage regen testing next? The reason I asked is that I only have Midan and I wonder if I can stack Rage Regen high enough to let her ults more frequently and actually use her in GB2-Apoc2. I did some preliminary testing and the findings are pretty interesting. I tested Midan in various gears in GR1, using the Cost meter to measure how fast she could fill up her rage cap. It takes over 1 second to increase the cost by 1.
    Findings:
    - As some of us might already know, the Rage Regen stat doesn't at all affect how she generates cost naturally. i.e. if you put her somewhere that she doesn't heal and doesn't get hit and just let her rage meter fills by itself.
    - The Mana Spring set, which increases the Auto Rage Regen stat by +3, however, significantly makes her ult faster: by 10 cost cycles.
    - Rage Ragen stat increases the rage regen rate when she heals or takes hit but not by a lot. At 160% RR, she ults 3 cost cycles faster than 0% RR - Keep in mind that I have a 40% RR bonus from Patheon, so it's more like 200%RR vs 40%RR
    - I heard that there is a 50% soft cap on RR so that's probably the reason why 200% RR doesn't make much of a difference compared to 40%

    I really like it. Do you know MaBucket? He was a content creator for the game and he even had a damage calculator that was fairly accurate. Maybe you could try to contact him and ask if he still has the formular of damage calculation so you could have a more precise look on this.

    Nice results and thanks for putting your time into this! Some thoughts:
    1. Pantheon bonus. This likely works similar to other post-deployment effects (ToT, Invig) and is a considerable buff to atk. Some easy to implement changes to atk thresholds
    2. Is it confirmed that the stacks are damage decrease and not an increase in resistances? Would be great to have both calculations to exclude one possibility.
    This could also partially be tested with true damage: should it also be reduced, a conclusion could be made.
    If not, further testing would be needed to see if true dmg ignores mitigation effects or if it is due to ignoring increased resistances.

    • @BluntgutsGaming
      @BluntgutsGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey thanks for the thoughts. I've responded below:
      1. Pantheon Bonus: I think you're right in that it's a flat increase to attack. Unfortunately it doesn't show up on the character sheet so I worry it might confuse folks, and would certainly be inconsistent across accounts. With that said you're right I should take that into account for the Semrah defense estimate which is probably about 2,000 higher than I've been estimated here. I'll posit that in a follow up when I do the magic resist testing.
      2. The language states a damage reduction to specific sources, physical and magic damage. True damage is a separate damage type afaik. That said, I haven't tested true damage, but my understanding is that it bypasses the buffs.

    yeah he's got insane defense and magic res in general, that really limits the kind of builds you can run, it's basically either full atk or 2atk-1cdmg for guys with really high atk and deffinitely warlord set for everyone, invig on everyone and dolores or constance mandatory..
    I think I heard something like 11k for both def and mr..
    that info came from worguides but I don't remember the exact number, give or take 1.5k..

    I wonder if the boss has such a high defense, then would Fatality set be useful? It ignores 12% defense so if the boss' defense is 20,000 then the set basically brings it down to 17,600. In the same vein, would Idril's Gaze be better than Spirit Siphon in this content?

    • @BluntgutsGaming
      @BluntgutsGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly on both counts, fatality and idrils gaze. I think Magda is really good there as well for that reason. With that said I've had some folks tell me that it's not straight defense and there is another hidden modifier reducing damage, so it might not be as impactful as it might seem.
      If you do some testing please report back!!

    hello celestial brother, i have a question. In your spreadsheet in the first row, the damage is always the same because the defense is higher than the atk? if so, it means that 3924 would be equal to 5% of the atk times the crit damage, is that right?

    • @BluntgutsGaming
      @BluntgutsGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey buddy, 3924 should be equal to 5% of attack multiplied by all damage modifiers, of which crit damage is one.
