After nearly a year of struggling through this game (Manual touch on iPhone 7 Plus), I finally broke down and decided to watch some A9 videos.
This is the first one I’ve come across and it was the one I needed to see. I couldn’t understand why the Chevy in the Pinned Caribbean track was more than 1,000 rating points behind the Alfieri but was noticeably faster. Now, I see why it felt that way as a lesser skilled player.

I quited the Drive Syndicate(Jesko Special Event) cause i don't have the Ginetta and the Syndicate store doesn't refresh every 3 hours so i'm stuck and then gave up on the event. Also i can't skip the last mission for Blind Spotters(there we go) cause there's no option to skip via tokens & i need the Ginetta G60. Totally a very difficult event & an event only worth it if you have the Jesko after reaching Nine Kings I

I got stuck at blind spotters 3. The pack's drop rate is horrendous and you need them to unlock the ginetta. I could imagine how much wallets are gonna cry further deep in the event lol

I had a game in my 488gtb, where a corvette was right behind me at 2nd place, and he actually turned off his shockwave as he caught up to me and turned it back on when I pull away from him, that dude was so nice, I remember his ID was like OrangeClown or something

Beating f12 and corvettes by itself is a great job but even though I think Alfieri will be laying in the garage after the se is finished with no use unless it's related in future events or featured in mp.
Hey feuerrm just a little heads up on your next best and worst cars list the Koenigsegg jesko at 6* has good stats overall except for nitro effenciency but it does become okay when you upgrade it more

About the event being ridiculous, I think there must be a kind of a (helping hands) in the process otherwise a handful of players would critically win the Jesko.

I have decided to save my 12k tokens to instead upgrade my chiron or regera because in the end the difference in not that much I can also unlock some other new cars that potentially come in the future I would rather waste my tokens on something guaranteed than something I might not get

I have 9 cars and i got at least 4 chapters done with my 3 star lotus elise from d class
The jesko event is great but the drop rate of the Ginetta pack is awful, you can easily lose over 30k (S) tokens trying to get only 1 or 3 cards and even you can open a pack and get nothing :(

I have a weird question.
I've noticed that almost every mission has 3tasks. In case if I don't have a car or I have a car but it's not up to the rank and I choose to play other task in same mission will I get stuck in the future? I mean just like s coins, s points are also limited and whereas some tasks give more points to complete it, in the same mission some task gives less. So I just wanted to ask whether I'll be stuck in future if I decide to complete the low points task because of lack of cars or not.
You will eventually get stuck if you don't have the cars, because some missions are unskippable

And can you please ask gl to give us car hunts for new cars and maserati and g60? Because not only we need s coins for unlocking new cars, we also need s coins for upgrading the jesko and that's bs. It's way too expensive and packs of g60 are horrible. 9/10 times 1 bp per 10packs.
The Jesko event shows how paid to win asphalt 9 is. I just started the game a month and a half ago and I knew I won't be able to get the king of asphalt 9 but still have all the cars required for the event, except for the Alfieri, Sin R1 550 and the event cars (I got my Aventador SV in the car hunt and was able to 4* it and 2 epic imports), and still I am struggling with the event, but I haven't spent any tokens on this event because I know I am not gonna get the car so what's the point.
I think we need to start a petition on the Jesko event. I don't know how to start one, but these are my thoughts so far (may be inaccurate, and adding more to this is appreciated, maybe someone could frame all the points better :))
-The nature of packs is totally BS. For a way higher token-equivalent value (even for Ginetta) (Ruben did some calculations, can someone translate them?), you have 20% chance of x1 BP and there's no guarantee at all, as opposed to the 10% chance of x3 BP with guarantee. So far, practically, normal packs would give 4-5 BP per 10 packs but this one gives only around 1.5 BP per 10 packs, and with much greater variation from player to player. The side rewards you get from these packs are friggin credits and import parts, not even the BPs of other cars. The amount of trade tokens you get is significantly reduced, which makes it harder to get SIN R1 BPs which are essential. Newer players can't make progress on other cars either, all this for spending more tokens.
-A full-fledged veteran with all cars maxed would require 12k tokens on average just to unlock the superfast. Since Genty is twice as expensive, it's safe to assume you need another 12k, assuming you still have SC in reserve and your luck is not terrible. Being optimistic, one will need at least 20k tokens just to unlock Jesko. I could easily buy a scooter or a lappy with the real money needed for that amount (don't get me wrong, I'm a F2P player). Only 100-200 players would be able to unlock the car at most I'd say. I'm sure the price will very easily cross 30k for decal, for a very lucky person. I'd be surprised even if 10 players manage to win the decal.
What GL is trying to do is get even the F2P players to take out their wallets, but with THIS HUGE amount of uncertainty, the exact opposite is going to happen. This kind of scenario is sure to drive out even the richest of the donators, so GL will lose the existing fund supply and won't be getting any new.
-There was no car hunt or any event for Alfieri or any of the related cars. What we got instead are two car hunts which are absolutely useless for older players. The recent previous special events had events for almost all the required cars well before the beginning of the special event. This one had only for SV and Elise, which are way more common than Alfieri.
-The short-term MP seasons are 2 days longer and give out way less tokens. League rewards don't contain tokens anymore, and the leaderboard rewards have lesser token rewards. Earlier, top 1000 would fetch you 100+150 tokens and top 100 gave 100+250. Now you get only 0+100 for top thousand, 200 tokens for a top HUNDRED. Not to mention that car hunt riots don't give tokens anymore.
-Also, the little apparent compensation event "I AM IN CONTROL" is totally out of control. We need to grind the same 120" race 30 times to earn a mere 15k SC in total. The SC you earn in this event per unit time is about one-fourth of that of the latest pinned missions. And this event is what the current car hunts are apparently for.
Two grinding events to supplement another low-rewarding grinding event, which in turn supplements the ultimate grinding event, all this is very damn easily negated by luck factor. Funny, isn't it?

It will die... When Asphalt 10 comes out. A8 Is worse in many ways than A9 but it still lasted some 5 years

I wasted like 6k tokens in this event and i don't have a lot of problems here. I mean i don't get stucked really offen like a lot of people, and with this event i could unlock a lot of cars, like the Ginneta at 2⭐, R1 at 2⭐ and the Alfieri at 4⭐ (yes. From 0 to 4). I also start up my M4.
Yup. This event is p2w. But is more f2p than the regera event (who is in my opinion the most f2p event) and it gives you a lot of cars
