- If your phone falls or touch stops working without any damage . And you can’t press the button . Unplugging the batter and plugging back in will fix majority of this issue . Unless your touch screen is damaged . Subscribe please
I hope this helps anyone who reads it .. dropped my phone top half wasn’t working couldn’t put my password in .. I dropped my screen (minimize) was able to use the top half to unlock phone

did you also disconnect the screen or just the battery?

Repair shop will charge typically 80-160 depends on what type of repair but the part is 45 on eBay n repair can take 20 mins . Must have experience
I replaced my screen and it’s still not working
Maybe the connection is not correctly connected or damaged in process , or the board or lcd is damaged 🤷♂️

My iphone x touch would respond 100% sometimes and sometimes it will stop working at all. Screen is ok

Is this the same procedure for an intermittent ghosting. Right now- I sort of squeeze the screen uniformly and it worked perfect. In a little while it will act up. Ex. If im typing it will type the same letter, forward videos or change videos on TH-cam. My IPhone looks new. No cracks or scratches. Thanks for the help.
You need Lcd replacement , touchscreen causes ghost touch issues
@@selflovedevelopment1417 I have the ghost touching problem as well. The screen would have random seizure and start clicking and swiping with me touching it. I put touch accommodations on so that it would help with the randomness, but then that wouldn't do anything. I'm getting tired of holding down my finger just to click one letter on the keyboard. So what im trying to say is if I get a lcd replacement it would fix the ghost touches? Do you have a video on how to replace one?
Jowseph I do have a video , and yes that will fix , because screen have 3 layers glass digitizer and lcd . Touch is the digitizer which is in between lcd and glass

@@selflovedevelopment1417 Yes. You’re correct - I took it to repair and the technician checked the digitizer with a device that checks the pixels “I think “ with a horizontal and diagonal lines and it detected that the screen was damaged.

Just a small strip on my screen is not registering touch, it goes all the way across the screen where It does not register touch. What would you assume my issue is?

My iPhone X doesn't respond whatsover to touch. Is it more likely that the display is broken or could it be the motherboard? It's cracked though, so the most likely the display could of been damaged due to a fall.
Display still works perfectly though, so it's worth trying to replace the screen, right? I don't think that the touch connector on the motherboard is the problem, cause as I said the display is cracked so maybe the digitizer died.

To power off with no touch quick press volume up then quick press volume down and hold side button while phone restarts and let go of side button only when Apple logo disappears
it depends on your phones issue if cable is lose from inside then disconnect and connect it by opening it , if your problem is just software glitch following your advice will be correct option.

it will be fixed if you don't open up your phone and just do a force reboot using following method:
Single press volume UP button then volume DOWN botton and then long press (for 10 seconds) power botton.

@@ineldora1890 depends on where you take it , google iphone repair near you and ask for estimate . call few locations to get the lowest price before taking it for repair.
Okay disconnecting the battery and reconnecting fix the problem ... but my question now is , what cause the problem in the first place so we don’t get the same customer coming back with the same problem
not really sure . apple products are very unpredictable.
