I'm curious as to what it means to have red and black lines together on the same gate and channel. As well as red and black on opposite gates, creating a channel together? I have a few of these and would really appreciate any thoughts 😇🌟
Thank you Richard, this system certainly does help me to gain a deeper understanding of myself. I've a black with a couple of red striped 23/43 that's a complete pain in a debate :D. I'd love to know more about part black and white; part red and white - then half white with half black and white stripes - to boggle my fragile mind.
This is such a great video. In my own experiment, I didn't connect with my Manifestor type until I went through this process of looking at what's red. I have a very indirect motor to the throat with the 13-33 in red, on both sides. I often felt that I couldn't trust my voice because I perceived it as unpredictable. Things made sense in hindsight, or from feedback from others, but I rarely felt coming (I'm also quad right, so everyday is an adventure there). It's such a vastly different experience from my fully conscious 61-24. I feel I'm quite aware of my mental processes (or at least I think I know what that looks like). Things churn like crazy up there, but most of the time the externalization is vastly different from the internalization. I highly recommend looking at the chart this way if there's an aspect of one's design that just isn't clicking. It can be really insightful.

Another thing....how do people know if they are/operating in the self or not-self (shadow) aspect of the Red?

Red in the Ajna/Head - I imagine it to be like a continuous pressure to think that goes on in the background whatever is going on. Wow, this is mind blowing stuff Richard! You described my process/experience quite well! If I understand my humand design correctly, I am an example of this red throat center, and the right angle cross of explanation is my incarnation cross, 43/23. And I just stumbled upon this video, did not even consciously search for this info, lol. And I myself am a youtuber and I just cannot do it any other way than just speak in the moment. I have never been able to read from a script or any of that. My best videos are when I just go and talk and have no idea what I am going to say really. Same with readings, I used to overprepare for readings so much. Its also just experience but have found that I dont need to overprepare, but just get a feel for the chart beforehand...and things just unfold in the moment. I do have a question, is there a difference between if its written as 43/23 or 23/43 or does this mean the same thing?
You got it EyeofTheVeda! You absolutely don't need to prepare. And trying to read from a script will just get in the way. Yes, just let it come through you. After a while you will not even need to prepare at all. Regarding your question: the flow is from the Head to the Throat so it's more correct to say 43/23 but even if one says the 23/43 it is the same Channel. :)
Hi Allison. If means you have that Gate/s both in Black and Red, so you'll be conscious of the Black but not of the Red. Look at your list of numbers by the side of your bodygraph and you'll see the specifics. Hope that helps. :)
I did learn something important today! thank you, I am an emotional authority Manifestor 3-5...and my 55.1- 39.1 is in red ( the 39.4 is also in black) and , then the 36.6 is red connected to 35.3 black. So my authority is mostly unconscious. I do have a 49.6 in black...It is intriguing me profoundly that I have all this unconscious to deal with emotionally. My incarnation cross is the right angle Cross of Consciousness. Maybe I get to balance it some other way. What an experience this is to hear your take on the unconscious part of us. How do we deal with an Unconscious emotional Authority that takes time to perceive clarity? Much to think about. Thank you.( I regret that I didn't study Mime...when I see them I feel I could be that.)
Hi Claudette, Thank you for your comments. The Red in your Solarplexus simply means you do not have access to the process, this does not mean that clarity does not come. It will, it does, your mind need not be involved. If it is, then the 49.6 and 35.3 will be part of it. So when you are upbeat in your wave you can be fantastic at getting others excited about change, when down in the wave you can be oversensitive to rejection as an example. Meanwhile the Individual pulse of the 39/55 emerges as it does, with you feeling happy or sad for no reason. I hope that helps. :)

This is fascinating. I have the conscious 43-23 channel and was going to ask about that when you began to describe it. What about a red/unconsicous 63-4 channel?
Great that I was relevant for the 43/23 overview. The 63 = Doubt and the 4 = Formulas / Amswers. Half and Half means you won't recognise the whole Channel in yourself, however others will recognise your analytic thinking. Hope that helps. :)

I only have two defined channels and i see why it has been difficult to see myself as an ego manifestor: my 1/8 is all red and my 25/51 is half/half (i identify with the other oerson who commented here about being told that they are shocking but not recognizing it on themselves. And I can certainly recognize how stuff comes from my throat before I have an idea of what i am saying, and how difficult is to force myself to speak! I have a related question, as I have 5 gates that are red/black and even more, 14 2x red/1x. Black, 18 2x red, 1x black, 46 2x black/ 1x red. I am sure i wanted to learn about these gates, but what to make of repeated gates?? It does leave a lot of openness for many other gates, that's clear! Thank you for considering this!
Thanks for your comments Victoria. Great that you recognise the reason why you find if difficult to relate to yourself as an Ego Manifestor. Regarding your question, relax, it is normal for us to have some Gates repeated. It means that your Design contains the characteristics of the Gates 14, 18 and 46 three times. Hi. So, thoughts come. If these Channels and Gates remain forever unconscious we may never be aware of them (unless it’s a sudden jump from a frying pan 😂) not that they become conscious over time? And in that way they are for ‘the other’ to experience? I was going to ask about Gates and Channels that are both conscious and unconscious but then the planet and/or line must be different. Cheers……. But then my partner has but one Channel, 64 unconscious and 47 conscious 🤔
Hi Alan. No they don't become conscious in time. You may recognise the behaviour AFTERWARDS as being consistent with what others have said, but there is no way to access it in the moment. Black and Red together means you won't recognise the Channel if only one Gate is red. Having two or more of a Gate can be seen when you look at the numbers down the sides of the chart. Your partner is inspired to think about the past and make sense of all kinds of things in an abstract way - but since she hasn't a conscious Channel that's for you to recognise in her. She'll most likely be telling you of her dreams which often is the case with this Channel. I hope that was helpful. :)
Great amidthesalt. Makes sense in your experience eh! Human Design proceeds steadily as we got into our experiment and then there are sudden shifts in "getting it" at different levels. The Red can be one of those shifts for some, epsecially if ALL ones Channels are red. :)

My one channel is an unconscious 59-6 and I literally can't see how it affects my life. The only thing I can think of is often when I wish with men they will go out of their way to let me know they are in a relationship, out of nowhere. I have few friends or people in my life, and am not close to those I am. Can't have kids. It doesn't feel like a useful channel at all and I honestly would say it doesn't exist in my life. Thank God for strategy and authority, so it doesn't really matter.
