Hello! Thanks for the comment. Yes I use it frequently. It’s particularly useful on regular maintenance jobs and those with tricky access such as narrow alleyways and gardens with steps. The main issue I have with it is that it doesn’t work too well in the wet. Hope that helps 👍

I've just bought the same mower 2 days ago running it with the new 500s battery seems great for some of my awkward lawns with steps etc .How are you finding the mower?
I’m the same as you, I use it for gardens with steps and also going through peoples houses. I’ve had it for 2 seasons now and really like it although I find it borderline unusable in the wet. Let me know how you get on with it over the year 👍

Does the battery overheat in the summer?
Hello! I've never had this issue. They come with the upper operating temperature on the battery (50C). Hope that's ok for you 👍

Great video, I've just bought myself a 448. Have you found a way to stripe lawns with the mower? I've looked in to striping kits, but they look like they are all made for standard double handled mowers, so I doubt they'll fit the single handle that the Stihl mowers have.

Id need two fully charged to feel safe with that lawn, or maybe a ap200 as back up..stilll the most sexiest batt mower out there tho.good review 👍

How good is this mower? Does it collect well in the wet and how long will the ap300 battery normally last?
Hiya mate, it’s a great mower when the conditions are right. It cuts really well on medium and short length grass and is adequate on longer stuff but it’s borderline unusable in the wet. If the lawn is wet it cuts ok but won’t collect too well, that could be operator error though (maybe).
AP300 lasted 45 minutes on this job with a mixture of short and medium grass lengths.
Overall it’s a great mower to have and is so light that it makes jobs with steps and going through houses much easier.

I can confirm full grass box in the wet.altho official guidelines is not to use in rain. Altho I have all last season no issues. Only downfall I noticed was battery life is drastically reduced in wet. I have 2 ap500s 1ap300s 1 ap300 2 ap200 I'm fully battery operated for season 2023 from mower to chainsaw . Oh ps I use the 448vc
Can you use the AP500 in this mower? Are they interchangeable batteries as I notice this one is being used with a AP300.
