Hornet has quickly become my favourite content creator. I love Rachta for the commentary, but hornet gives more consistent upload and content, its longer. And its just pure, unadulterated gameplay.

Fun fact about the resupply room at stillwater: You can loot the special ammo and toolbox by jumping at the slit window they sit next to so you dont have to open the loud gate to get inside.

Man, the normal shotty ammo looks a lot better than I had expected. I just heard it sucked at release or smth and ever since I put on slugs everytime. Extra ammo and hipfire looks tempting

you prefer base drilling ammo over dumdum/fmj? I like that fmj increases it's 2 tap range and dum dum is free heavy bleed pressure. but losing pen does suck and having that 20m drop off also sucks even with it's base mv, love the gun but idk which ammo complements it best rn
Its the same as with the le mat carbine. Slugs are a total gamechanger to the usefulness of the shotgun part.
This is exactly how I feel with the LeMat Carbine! Since the last event I never see anyone run it. It’s like the Officer Carbine and Romero had a baby. You gotta chill with those headshots using the Conversion FMJ or they gonna nerf it 😂 Always love the content man. You’ve taught me a lot! 🫡 👊
The Lemat karbine disappointed me so hard too often: hitting with slug ammo at 5 meters twice and the hunter was still alive.
Same with FMJ: I was sure that was a HS and no hit 🤷🏻♂️.

Hornet just aims sort-of at the player and gets a kill through half a wall with the shotgun part of the drilling, yet I'll hit someone center of the chest and get like 10 damage to the leg.
Do you think because of velocity the standard ammo is the best for the drilling? Also as a secondary you like the officer best with it?
Hornet is a head clicker, a higher velocity definitely suits him

bro I'm having a hard time with this gun, prestiging during the event has allowed me to stock up on them but man, I haven't got its recoil or firing scheme down. It's tricky when you forget which barrel the bullet is gonna come out for a ranged shot so I tend to just go for body if I'm not certain. The shotgun underbarrel is tits though!
That double barrel has insanely realistic range, I wanna check this game out based on that alone lmfao

Because that is the historically accurate version. This is changed because one: fits better into the game and two: balance. double ''long barrel'' shotgun would be overpowered, and would totally replace the Rival shotgun. So the only reason it is different here, is such that it fills a neiche inside Hunt showdown.
Just a little extra. This is also the reason why Crytek as a developer ignores ALL request from random retards asking for a specific random weapon to be added. Since they would just work the same as any other weapon or replace said weapon.
Example: Any 4-10 shot rifle from 1880 to 1900 would work the same ingame as the Mosin or Label
Any revolver would be the same as the Pax or the Conversion or the New Army
TLDR: for a weapon to be added into Hunt showdown, it needs to fill a neiche inside the game, such that the weapon is unique and offer a different playstyle. (Also the reason why this has 1 buckshot and 2 ''medium ammo'' shots)
Personally would love to see the lever action Mosin nagant added! Unnecessary and a bit redundant but a lever action long gun would be cool. Russia contracted for Winchester to produce the lever Mosin, would be neat to see it in game

@@1344madsboth are “historically accurate”. Drilling is just a weapon type stemming from the German word for triplet, it can be a mix of calibers and ammo types, as long as there are three barrels. But you are right, picking the Dobbelbüchsdrilling was the better choice for Hunt, if we were to get a drilling type of rifle.

I'm new at the game, how do you guys use the throwing axe as a melee weapon?? I read the traits, tried press X, does not work like with the tomahawk, I really don't get it, thanks for anyone who help :)
It sounds like you play the gunslinger control scheme. You to have melee as a separate bind, as left clicking the mouse will make you throw the tomahawk, which I assume is your problem. It’s the same way that you melee with the butt of your rifle.

press left click for weaker hit but less stamina usage and hold left click then release for charged hit that uses about half of your stamina. (all without right click, which you use to throw it)

Stupir question but how do you unlock the drilling? I didnt see it anywhere in the weapons library
You can unlock through battle pass
It unlocks with event points but tomorrow the event ends and u will find it in the weapons book

I want to like the drilling but medium ammo really holds it back. Way to many times people have lived chest shots that would've killed with long ammo

@@bb-sw6ur It doesn't change much because the damage drop off is horrible for medium ammo. I had an enemy die 4 times and still take a chest shot with dum dum ammo.

Mostly, he perfectly knows the cooldown; he groups his jumps by two, waits a little, and goes with two jumps again. You see at 16:30 that he timed it wrongly and got the movement penalty
