In the 2013 season, everything was well balanced: a machine’s capability, a course layout, and driver’s technique.

Wow DK was really pushing that s2k on that last run, even banging off the limiter before the hairpin.
That a seriously aggressive angle of attack on that J's s2000 but it didn't seem, to me atleast, to add much more rear grip. Maybe it was just Tsuchiya going faster to exploit the extra downforce. Well I guess the sector time speaks for itself.

The fd3s at assetto corsa is soo difficult to control, the s2000 is super driver friendly.

Rear wing had more angle so it didn't slide as much, so DK had to clutch kick it to oversteer it a slight bit

Dude, that was intense as fuck! Love these Gunsai runs. FD looks so good tho. Tsuchiya won that one not the car. FD seemed to have more in it and it was looking really stable. Great stuff!
Yeah, on 265 tires, there's alot more potential to be had. That S2000 struggles with rear stability on 295's and in later videos had to go 315's, Can you imagine the grip that RX7 would have and the level of power it could put down efficiently with tire widths like that
@@roknroller6052 well, then again the FD has TONS more power.. it can afford to lose more momentum and time for error. The S2000 has less margin for error. It requires much more skill.
I hate how nob drives with his foot on the clutch
That RX7 can put +140hp more down on a 265. Why would the s2k need a R-295 and later a R-315. Makes me wonder in later videos what that RX7 could achieve, Making a F.R -285 fit... It would be unbeatable, haha

Yeah, I felt for those kind of roads, magnetorheologic dampers would have been ideal. Tsuchiya was just blowing through the stops on every pothole. Unlike the FD which was soaking the bumps and as a result appeared to be a lot more stable.

6:16 why did he press the clutch?
WannaBeNinja the car was on low rpm and probably it goes better in the upper rpm's. Because of that, his acceleration improves.
WannaBeNinja it’s called clutch kicking. Has a few uses, typically it upsets the balance of the car to provoke a rotation of the chassis (basically a drift). When you smack the clutch it causes the car to jump and the driveline shock will cause a drift, or loss of traction.
