But no mods needed is not entirely true, or is it?
The flat roof for example would not be possible without Gizmo, or did that change and I missed it?
Bushes around the pillars in the boar pen too, unless they happened to be exactly where needed beforehand.
The mod for the signs would not be needed, that one I give you. 😉
No mods needed is for playing in that world. In the video description i listed the mods i used to build.
@@ulrichgamingandmusic I saw that you listed the mods in the description. Hence my question above, wether something changed in the games mechanics regarding mods.
The parts of the buildings you rotated using Gizmo would not show correctly (or at all), if someone without Gizmo would use the worldfile with the build in it. Same for plants that were planted with a mod.
I had that happen with my own modded builds countless times, if I forgot to start the world along with the mods I used for building.
Therefore: someone who wants to use your worldfile WITH your build in it, the mods are needed to have your build show up correctly UNLESS Iron Gate changed the games behavior regarding modded build pieces.🙂
@@nozee77 I just tested it starting the game in vanilla, nothing changed. all loaded in. the only thing i know is that if a rotated piece gets destroyed, you cant replace it without gizmo.

For me it never worked. Ever.
Even Reddit had some threads addressing that problem.
Maybe the devs changed something, so it works as of now. If so: even better!

If you didnt use a mod howd you make the roof pieces flat on top? I only know how to do that with the mutliple axis hammer. Very functional base design though, might copy a few things that I found good looking (like the blacksmithy all combined into one piece.)

love the build, downloaded your world, but i cant figure out the snap angle of your wall, i just cant recreate the snap angle on my build, whats the number of snap divisions you are using? 32?

@@ulrichgamingandmusic ive never been able to figure out how to get that one to work 😔 the gyro shows up and rotates but the pieces stay the same
@@whisterbin there are some versions of gizmo, i use gizmo from comfy on thunderstore

Hi, I use a mod named Gizmo from thunderstore. It lets you rotate all buildpieces 360°. Its my favourite mod.

at minute 0:18 you say that you don't use mods, but tell me how you managed to position the chests in that way other than using mods (4:27, 5:02)? Other than that, your base is pretty cool. You have to be more transparent about what you used, in this case say the name of the mod, GIZMO ok.
not to mention the straight roof 6:25 :)
I give up writing vid descriptions. Noone reads before critisizing stuff. It literally says:

@@ulrichgamingandmusic I actually didn't read the description of the video, but it's a bit contradictory to say that mods are not necessary when it is... it was a little confusing to say in the video that it is not necessary and in the description to put the list of mods. Without further ado, the construction turned out really cool. :)

Hi, just google Valheim worldfiles location. I could tell you my filepath on win 10, but they may differ. its usually in the app data/steam/steamapps folder

i downloaded it and put it in my Planbuild > Blueprints and there is nothing when i loaded my game to place this magnificent piece of art :( . I wonder if put it wrong or maybe i have to do some adjustments?
its not a blueprint, its 2 worldfiles
Not sure but can this build be done without the mods.
For thze rotated pieces like the flat roof you would need the gizmo mod. But the most of it can be built without mods

Outside there are bushes that don't belong in that biome - and blueberry next to raspberry.. Yet you boast yourself as 100% vanilla.... what a joke.

it says "100% Vanilla, no mods needed". That is regarding the players who download and play in that world, have you thought of that? Next time maybe think before you go ham on strangers! If I wrote "No mods used" you would have a point, but I didnt :P Over a thousand downloads sofar speak for themselves.

Its not a endgame base, the enemies at start of game would wreck this base...
If you would look closer, you would see that i dug a moat all around this place.
