Hello and welcome back to a new video ! Finally I had the chance to start this new journal and I’m still a bit scared about the fact that it’s lined (I usually prefer gridded or dotted ones but I’m okay with a challenge) but I’m already getting used to it.
I was also thinking about starting a smaller side journal to keep along with this one but I’m not sure, definitely let me know what you think!

i've journaled since i was 9, so i filled up 6 diaries already, but i never really tried to make them really aesthetic and pretty. do you have any tips for starting? i am scared that it wont turn out pretty well. also where do you get the "material" you glue in your diary? 🫶🏻
I’ve also journaled since a very young age. And my diaries and journals definitely were not pretty or aesthetically pleasing at all. At some point I just started watching TH-cam journaling videos and took inspiration from them. Also Pinterest really helped. Ngl I’ve literally copied peoples spreads many times. And in the end I realized it was pointless because that way the journal didn’t really feel mine. Many people do that but I don’t think it really suits me. Truth is, no journal is ugly or pretty. As long as it feels yours, it will be alright. If I don’t like a page I just turn it over and restarts in the following one. I usually collect bits from my day like labels, stickers that come from pretty packagings, cafes napkins, wrappings, old magazines, thrifted books, postcards and all that. This ephemera collection takes time to build up, but if you haven’t used any of these things before you’ll probably find something lying in your house somewhere. I stock up on shein and AliExpress for more basic things like post it notes, washis or stickers as well. Also thrift stores sometimes come up with some vintage gems that really spice up your journal and make it more unique 🥰
@@howtobejuly thank you SO MUCH for the long answer, that really helped me. especially the "just turn the page over if you dont like it" part. i think i will be starting with collecting small things in my everyday-life, glueing them in my diary and then watching the development... pretty sure it will turn out nicely💗
How many journals do you have in total and where do you store them all? :o
If you mean completed journals I have A LOT of them and I store them in different boxes inside my wardrobe. I have uncompleted journals (not many of them tho) and they usually are stored in my desks drawer. Then I have blank journals which I store in a little basket in my wardrobe (there are maybe 10 of them)
Omg! We need a completed journal tour tbh. I love how you have so many. It must be nice to have all those options esp since u run thru them so fast. Do you have a fave journal you've completed??
