Finally we are spreading the Scandinavian advent candle holders to UK! ☺ We put them up first advent sunday before christmas, so that would be on november the 26th, It's either this or you hang a paperstar with a light inside it, so it shines up in the window. It's a lovely tradition and almost every window in Sweden has it up.
I know the series is nearly finished but so pleased Sort your life out was back, roll on next series. Wish Stacey would sing more on the programmes, she has an amazing voice
A fun challenge with Luke would be to go to a boot sale together. Each one guesses what the other will choose to buy, make note of it and then compare who guessed right.

I think those blue-toned glass bits might look great in the solar water fountain! I have one of those fountains in my own garden & find it loses quite a bit of water b/c it free-floats, and winds up near the edge of my container. The glass bits might help it stay centered, as well as adding to reflection, etc…
The vase at the end of the Vlog I liked the best . Also being free was even more nice. Just the colours of my front room with the green . Glad you picked up the Cat Grass as well for the roof garden . Cats LOVE , cat grass . Have a nice weekend

Love the cat theme! Re the glass pebbles, I made door stops with some. I used empty jars that had lids, filled them with the pebbles and put the lid on. They have worked for 20 odd years without breakage, but you should be careful about how you move them around when you want to close the door.

Hey Iwan, fab haul as always! I loved all the items you found! You could glue the glass beads around an old jam jar etc to make a decorative tealight holder for the garden. Xx
You did really well there Mr C 👍 i loved the vase those beads are good for a few things , I sometimes pop some around the top of plants or use for drainage inside on the bottom. Fab for making DIY door stops inside fabric... or great for décor inside a vase or bowl for floating candles.... have a great week ❤ xx
Some great finds. Love the cat carollers! Yes, you can split up the cat grass and pot it on, so you have a number of pots going, and as the kitties eat one, you can rotate them in and out. The one they have eaten will resprout if left to regrow, and they can be nibbling at a fresh supply in the next pot.

I'd just spent the afternoon in the hot sunshine, lazing in the park with friends, and you mention Christmas, and I realise it's only few weeks away! Nooo!😊 But it's never too early to get bits and bobs as you see them - I liked the very simple candle light you picked up - such a bargain. I also loved that pot you found. I could instantly see how well it would go in your room with the autumn decor! Cheers, Iwan!
Oh nice finds. Most favourite were the cream stonewear set. The 3 bottles with narrow necks would make beutiful candlesticks and the the 4th wider bottle a vase, so they look like a set. Perfect with gold and green taper candles and evergreen stem, scatter some pine cones on a natural tray and you've got perfect table centrepiece 😊 you can use the glass pebbles to make bird and bees bath for your balcony. Years ago I found free shallow terine that was missing its lid, so put some pebbles and water and leve it on my balcony. Bitrds, insects and squirrels even come for a sip or wash. I clean it before adding fresh water 😊
What a great haul! Loving the clay pots and that ‘dumpster vase’ just wow! That’s going to look awesome with some autumnal colours in it. Love that haul. Those clay pots look very much like the ones my dad used to dig up. When he was younger bottle digging was his hobby and he still has his prize finds he used to give away ones that had no writing on them and as a crafter I so wish he had kept them. So many things you can do to them or as you say just leave them and put stems in them. Yes I have watched Paula she has a beautiful home and is so calming to listen too.

Love the pot you picked up. Here in Sydney (Australia) we have scheduled Council Cleanup Days when residents can put items out to the taken away. I always take a walk on those days and have found lots of things that can be repurposed - someone else’s trash becomes my treasure!

Hi Iwan. Beautiful finds as usual and loving your autumnal looking courdroy shirt! You could fill a shallow dish/ceramic/plastic plant saucer with those coloured glass marbles and fill with water as it makes an excellent watering station for insects, bees,butterfly's etc as they can easily drink and not drown by standing on a glass pebble. I did this in my old garden before I moved and boy do I miss having a garden so much.

Hey there! My favorite item was the Gingerbread Shower Gel. I am a Gingerbread girl myself. When I was a little girl my Mommie or Grandmother would bake pans of Gingerbread. The scent always brings a smile to my face. I've found as I've gotten older I like Pumpkin, Clove and Spice. I bought 3 lovely Fall/Autumn Pumpkin candles today. You always find the best things that people have sat outside so other people can help themselves. I also love the cat cards. They’re absolutely adorable! The little hand towels have Kate McCabe‘s name all over them. L O L! They would make a perfect Christmas gift for her. I really like the clay pot for utensils and then the smaller ones for stems. Those are definitely handmade and a great neutral color to use for holidays or any time. I can’t wait to see a video of London at Christmas. I love the angels that are draped from one side of the street to the other and all the little store fronts decorated. All the lights are absolutely beautiful at night. I know I'm late but this is such a tonic after a journey down through Scotland today so much flooding. Such a nice way to relax before an early night.

I keep my candle arch out all year, on my mantle, in front of a big mirror. At Christmas I add the holly decoration bits it came with 🎄

Great vintage finds.
Those glass pebbles are quite useful for making a few stems go a long way as they support them so you don’t need many in your vase.

Great haul again! You can use those pretty stone's in a bird bath for bees and butterflies to drink out of, without drowning themselves.

You always find the best things that people have sat outside so other people can help themselves. I also love the cat cards. They’re absolutely adorable! The little hand towels have Kate McCabe‘s name all over them. L O L! They would make a perfect Christmas gift for her. I really like the clay pot for utensils and then the smaller ones for stems. Those are definitely handmade and a great neutral color to use for holidays or any time. I can’t wait to see a video of London at Christmas. I love the angels that are draped from one side of the street to the other and all the little store fronts decorated. All the lights are absolutely beautiful at night.
