I’m not a fan of Trish however I think that first video he made about her showed Ethan’s peak misogyny and while he definitely adores Trisha and treats her better, I also think he’s come a long way from the heavy misogynist he was.
I’ve watched H3 for such a long time now and while he does make problematic comments sometimes, he’s really come a long way in personal and emotional growth.

I think the reason it was awkward was because the candlestick was a very traumatizing thing that happened to her when she was a hooker and might not have been consensual, but she was doing it to make a living, and she has brought it up casually in the past because she is trying to not let it traumatize her by being very casual about it, but Ethan bringing it up was very triggering for her because I think she doesn't want her family to know about the abuse/trauma she went through when she was a hooker, like being shot at etc.

This is my first time watching but I know how it ends. It’s honestly crazy to see how much Trisha was grown and matured; their friendship has flourished and they have such great chemistry. And to know that it’s ends in just a few episodes feels so surprising at this point 😞 watching them bond so much I just can’t fathom completely cutting contact like that… and to know they still haven’t talked and haven’t seen her baby. It’s awful. I really hope they’re able to reconcile one day

I know nothing about Hebrew, but this comment above is more as a way for me to explain that I believe depending on where you live it can be pronounced differently, so Trisha probably didn't have bad intentions and probably just wanted to say it the most accurate way possibly??? I’ve rewatched this show every fall since it ended and it is everything to me. Manifesting a reconciliation between them even if they don’t make a podcast (but also low key manifesting a rekindling podcast) I love you frenemies and hope you find peace and love between one another ❤️

I worked in the kitchen.. they were having parent teacher meetings and Adam Sandler stopped by the Cafeteria and grabbed a plate of food. he was SO nice, and down to earth, one of my coworkers asked for a picture with him and he asked the entire kitchen staff if we wanted to take a group photo with him... really cool, guy. I heard after he went across the street to play basketball at the courts just like a normal guy lol.
My aunt has a friend that used to clean houses in his area (not his house though lol) but she met him while he was on walks a few times and she said he just seemed like a normal,super friendly guy. I think that's part of why my family loves his movies, even the bad ones lol

I think the reason her family was put off by Ethan bringing up the candle stick thing had more to do with the circumstances of that particular event (she mentioned before that she had to get stitches and it was traumatic and she was pretty young when it happened and in shock afterwards), not just that she did something kooky and sexual.

Therapy can change your life and both these creators apply the therapy mindset to try to facilitate a more balanced version of themselves.
