The chemistry between these two is deadass otherworldly. It took me 2 hours to finish watching this because there were so many priceless moments I had to keep replaying. This is the only podcast that I actually sit down and watch without multitasking, on a big screen TV. I look forward to it on Tuesday every week with the same excitement I had for my favorite TV shows in their prime. This episode was the best one yet, I laughed the entire time. I got nervous earlier before it posted since it went up a bit later than usual, I really don’t ever want this series to end.

Trisha makes fun of herself a lot as a defense mechanism, but when someone she considers a friend does that you can tell it really hurts. From the outside, self deprecating humor may seem like a green light to say the same things to the person that they call themselves, but it’s their biggest insecurities. I think he is slowly starting to understand that about her. He’s becoming more sensitive to her feelings and I really hope they continue their friendship. Everyone deserves a friend that treats them like an equal and I don’t think Trisha has many people in her life like that. I know she’s problematic AF, but I really think she just needs help.
I think you are exactly right (edit: you really "hit the nail on the head". thinking back about myself, it reminds me of me a bit back then. i think she is a troubled woman, who has major insecurities, mental issues and substance abuse issues. They all make it worse, its a toxic cycle she is in.

100p agree, I actually noticed that when he called her fat she kind of changed her demeanor and you can tell she wanted him to take it back but it went unaddressed and then right after that was when she went down the 'gravity' discussion which I legit think was a way for her to distract herself from feeling hurt

I will say Trisha is absolutely 100% correct about the lie detector guy that’s in everyone’s videos. Lie detectors are very touchy And hard to give. You cannot just skip around to random questions, it all has to be pertaining to one subject.
Lie detectors are actually just stress detectors. They do not measure your brain waves, if you lie. They measure tension and twitches in your muscles and blood flow and preasure and sweat on your fingers etc. So yeah you must indeed go slowly through questions like you said, following a story and hoping you notice him stressing because he is caught up in a lie running around the truth
Nothing has ever made me laugh as hard as Ethan being so sure of himself and then getting obliterated by Trisha in the first round.
